It did, the installation went very easy and just had to expand the hole for the control knob. One interesting point though, if you have to drill or expand an existing hole, do yourself a favor and use the correct size of hole saw and drill a hole in a wooden board to guide the holesaw as it bores through the solid surface.

Great flow rate, water tastes like nothing — which is perfect! Fairly straightforward installation. The video was great and was better than the written instructions.

Easy install and works good. I definitely taste a difference from the plain tap water. I still haven’t figured out how the light works. Replacement cartridges seem a little pricey.

Was very easy to install and water tastes great – well worth the money!

This product was extremely easy to install. All i did was follow along with the instructional video – paused and rewound as needed. The only addition i had to do was add a new 3/8” – 1/4” compression coupling, snipped off a section of the blue line, and quick connect T-connector (if this review lets me i’ll add a photo).

Not too difficult to install. Works well. Looks good.

Professionally installed. Water now tastes much better.

Purchased as part of a complete kitchen renovation, so I had the hole cut in our quartz countertop by the countertop installers and the hookup done by a licensed plumber, so I can’t discuss ease of installation. However I can say that it works wonderfully, looks great and provides excellent drinking water, all at a cost of about 1/10th of the cost quoted to me by the company that services our water softening equipment.

Good so far. The problem are the plastic fittings provided. I had to be extremely careful not to damage their threads. It would be nice if a couple of extras are provided.

Remarkably easy to install. Fool-proof. Water does have a noticeable difference. Love the filter warning light on the knob. 30 minute install – tops. Basically hidden entirely, and eliminates the need for bottled water and filter pitchers. Dislike – nothing. Like – everything.

I’ve had several water filtration systems over the years, all of which did a great job at improving the taste of the tap water in my house, however, the GE High Flow Filtration System – Dual Flow is the best so far. Installation was a snap, especially because of the video that is posted on Homedepot.com. Just follow the steps one by one and the installation should take about an hour, assuming no holes need to be drilled. What separates the GE High Flow Filtration System – Dual Flow is the flow rate. It’s the only water filtration system that I’ve owned that allows the tap water to be filtered without a separate filtered water faucet. For this reason alone I think it is the best system I’ve owned. The only negative I can think of is that the provided controller that sits on top of the sink is only available in polished stainless steel. Today, many people have fixtures with so many different types of finishes from copper to brushed nickel that GE should make a few more finishes available.I would definitely recommend the GE High Flow Filtration System – Dual Flow to any family member or friend.

Our tap water had an awful chlorine and metallic taste. It was like drinking pool water. We were tired of spending money on bottled water so we decided on this system based on the reviews. My husband is physically disabled (lower extremities) and he installed it in two hours (our plumbing was a little screwy). He said an able-bodied person could do it in about 45 minutes. The difference is astounding. We have been spending around $200 per year on Dasani water. The unit at $127 and a set of filters for the other half of the year at $50 (they are supposed to be good for six months) will save us $23 the first year and $100 every year after. We now have great tasting water, are saving money, and have done just a little bit more to cut down on waste. I would definitely recommend this product.

I did a temporary install with the filter only (not the switching valve). The water flow on this system compared to our previous one is about double the volume! Fantastic!!

It is hard to know if you are getting filtered water right away or still have some unfiltered water coming leftover in the faucet. There should be a red dot or something on the knob to tell that you have the filter knob on or off. My husband installed it with some difficulty. Instructions okay.

Great addition to my kitchen I just purchased this house and my first change was to replace the kitchen faucet and to add a filter. This works great. Turn the knob and you have filtered water. Better then a separate faucet.

Very easy installation. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It honestly took less than 30 minutes. Water seems cleaner immediately and I like not having another spigot on my kitchen sink.

Before purchase I made a query in Questions & Answers on the HD description page, I received 4 reasonable responses and one, from the GE rep Sue, that obviously avoided a direct answer and was simply words without information. The hardest part of the installation was the limited space available under my kitchen sink. Opening the package, I read all the instructions and made sure that all the parts were accounted for (they were). I did note that ends of the plastic hoses were cut slightly off from a 90-degree angle, but that did not appear to present a problem when done. As I was installing, going, step-by-step, it occurred to me, what if I inserted the wrong hose in a fixture? How can the hose be removed… can it be removed? Stopping to reread the instruction I couldn’t find any mention of this. I suspect it can’t be done. Along the same lines, what about removing the Control Knob after installation? It “snaps in”, but, if needed, can it be removed intact? The screws provided for the Mounting System and the Timer box are 1” length, leaving almost a half inch of screw sticking out from the side of the opposing cabinet; I replaced them with ½” screws. The instructions were fairly clear, though could use a bit of refinement. They do not include a drill size for mounting screws. I found no reference to mounting the Timer/Battery box or hooking it up and installing the batteries (with that in mind, make sure you mount it allowing you access to change the batteries). There is no obvious indicator to insure you that the Timer was actually activated (it is mentioned in Step 7 (Reset Timer) of the Flush Procedure. The Timer, this battery-operated device simply counts down time. At 6 months it will alert you with a red light that it is time to change filters, ergo, weather you filter 1 gallon or 1000 gallons, you will be alerted to change filters at 6 months. They do provide a small role of Thread Seal Tape but I didn’t find any mention of using it in the instructions. Something to be aware of, because of the length of the tubing, you probably get about a cup, or maybe two, of unfiltered water between switching the Control Valve and starting the flow. You should probably let the water run a bit before filling your container.Okay, got it all installed, double checked the fittings and turned on the water. One distinctive leak, at the junction of the Angle Stop Valve Adapter (why the heck do they call it that?) and the Existing Water Valve. I had to tighten it well beyond, “hand tighten… Finish tightening ½ turn with adjustable wrench”, as the instructions indicated. Finally, when all done, it seems to work as advertised. Very simple to use and there was little difference between direct or filtered water flow. I’ll wait until I’ve used it longer before making further comment.

Certain reviews talk about flaws in the control valve design. On page 3 of the installation guide there are step that help ensure proper installation and how the valve knob works. When installing the valve ensure the valve is installed with the letter “F” facing you. When you want filtered water turn the knob towards the sink faucet. For unfiltered water turn the knob away from the sink faucet. Hope this clarifies a few misinforming reviews.

I’m really pleased with this filtration system. Easy to install and simple.
