We used the similar model during last 15 years, and never got any problem, just replaced all filters twice per year. In our new home we installed the GE similar model and using more than 2 month. Good and very reliable system.

Junk fittings. The 3/8″ push-to-3/8 tapered thread adapter that must be installed on the tank–and never mentioned in the instructions, nor the need for pipe thread sealer on taper-thread joints–snapped off as I installed it. Now I’m going to drive all over looking for an easy-out and an NPT or a BSPT adapter. On the other hand, I was looking for junk and I found it.

We like this system very much and the water taste great, the only reason we didn’t do five stars is the instructions were a little bit confusing And Home Depot doesn’t carry all the parts in store anymore

Pretty easy to install & great water! I have all chrome fixtures so needed the water spout to match the existing plus we have all GE appliances so glad to keep it consistent. My family in Ohio work for GE so happy to support a made in America co.

I have a brushed nickel sink faucet with a similar faucet for the RO system. So I needed to install your system without your RO faucet. I simply ran the outlet line (1/4” black tube) to the drain and do not use the indicator light. It would be helpful if you gave us the information needed to install the system without the light. When I attempted to install the RO filter, FX12M, I did not realize it needed to be installed to a depth even with the end of the housing. I thought because of the angle the cap and hose were holding me to, I could not find the first thread. I struggled with that for a while and finally pushed a little harder on the filter and it seated properly, then I was able to find the thread.Because of the position of the Storage Tank I needed to turn the outlet fitting (WS22X10002) of the post filter about 120 degrees ccw. There is not a lot of room for the Blue faucet line to clear the RO filter head, a little more length of the white tube for the RO filter head would be helpful. Note: it is the white tube going from Elbow WS22X10043 to the Valve(?) WS22X10038.

Its a great product for amount i paid never had an issue but if i coyld change anything about it….it would have to be the base mounting design and the wrench nut pattern on top filter. Other than that it went pretty well and has been working without issues

Quick installation. I was replacing the same system, which was about 10 years old.

The only complaint I have is they didn’t supply silicone lubricant. Otherwise, the system was easy to install & works great. I have had several of the GE RO systems over the years, all have performed well & lasted for years.

it replaced one that was 12 years old.

Happy with our new filtration system, only problem is the battery insert pops out when I try to wipe water around it causing it to fall into the sink and get wet.
