Easy install. Great tasting water. This is the second GE I have owned and my only issue would be the same for any of these systems: a bit messy and time consuming changing filters. Make sure you install it at a location where there is room to access filters. Have an old towel and a bucket handy when you change them. It’s not really hard, just not quick. Worth it for the great tasting water!

Recently moved into a place with well water and while it wasn’t bad, we wanted a filtering solution that would take care of the taste and smell. While this is an under-sink unit, we opted to install in the basement so we could feed the sink faucet supplied as well as the ice maker in the refrigerator. Initially we ran the waste line to the basin in the laundry area, but quickly grew tired of how often the pump turned on and re-ran it to the closed drain pipe. This is not an issue with the product as any reverse osmosis system will produce several gallons of waste water for every gallon of drinking water. We were concerned about the system keeping up with our family of four but we haven’t run out of water yet.
