I chose the Under the Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System because we live in the country and use the wells on the farm for our water, this system will help to insure that we are drinking good water. Upon unpacking the system my husband has decided that it is better to call a professional to install it as it seems to be more than he is comfortable doing. I have friends that have this very model and I know how happy they are with it. The instructions are very well written and easy to see.

This unit is smaller than the one I replaced and does not have as much pressure or hold as much water. The design is better and the filters are easier to change.

All the tubings are color coded which made the system easy to install. The snap-in fittings really made things simple. The whole system doesn’t take much room under the sink.

Received this unit a few days back and installed , first off installation is a breeze after I installed unit did what instruction said and 24 hours later had system set and ready to use I did have one small leak but that was due to me not cutting line straight recut and no leaks. I love it for my drinking water the only down side to me is my coffee does not have has much flavor when i use this .Over all very nice unit and easy to install and set up Thank you GE.

I received this product about a week ago and couldn’t be happier. Definitely a game changer, allowing me more control of what goes into my body. Plus, lots of money saved now there’s no need for me to buy bottled water. I was shocked at how quick and easy to install, with only a small drill holes on the cabinet. My husband got it set up in about 30 minutes or so.

Pros: This unit was easy to install and didn’t take up much space. Cons: our problems was high TDS and although this unit says it will remove 95%, it did not remove more than 20% for us. Upon doing further research our TDS were higher than the recommended max. Sadly this information was not easily found and had it been, we wouldn’t have purchased and setup the system. Therefore we are returning it.I would recommend for those who aren’t battling with TDS.

GE REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM, delivered well packaged. The systems instructions were clear and easy to understand. The system has removable replacement cartridges that do not require the water to be turned off for changing. Although the cartidge’s are a little more expensive than traditional generic osmosis systems its worth the extra cost for ease of replacement. We hooked up directly to fridgerator water and ice line. Immediately observed a difference in the ice. It was clear and no longer had an unwanted smell. Highly recommend this system.

Great tasting water. I followed the directions and left it open for 24 hours to purge the system and it still spits and barely can fill the coffee pot in the morning or multiple water bottles at the same time for a family of 4.

We purchased this item to replace an older reverse osmosis system. The water quality and taste is very good, but the water comes out very slowly compared to our old system. Overall, it is a good product.

Easy to install however you need to be really careful when attaching the water line to the sink water line. The plastic threads are extremely delicate and I stripped them out and had to head to the hardware store for another fitting. I used a compression fitting .Overall the system works as expected. We are on a well and the filtered water tastes a lot better and makes better ice. Seems to be a good little unit for the money.

Easy to install and works great. Only complaint is the 2 gallon storage tanks is too small for my needs.

I have a lot of pros for the unit but not any cons. We are very happy with this system, it’s simple and easy to use so I will just list out what I like about it:Easy installation, user-friendly manual, no special tools required only basic hand tools and a battery drill.Filter cartridges easy to install and maintain and no need to turn the water off to the house in order to change the filters. Set-up and purge for the unit takes 24 hours before you have drinking water. No frills basic unit, the filtration system does not require any power to operate so no electronics to go bad, with the exception of the faucet that is battery powered, which reminds you to change the filter every 6 months.Decent flow rate through the system, a bit faster than getting filtered water from a fridge door and a bit slower than using an unfiltered faucet.Water quality has great taste, no odors or a bad taste in the treated water exactly what you expect from a RO water filtration system. Faucet appearance Is modern & attractive, equipment size is minimal and fits nicely under the kitchen sink cabinet. We would definitely recommend this system to others looking for an RO system.
