Easy to install water filter. Has 3/8 inch poly tubing, I wish it was 1/4 inch instead. There are quick 1/4 to 3/8 inch adapters (push – in) available on the shelf. Filter change is fast and water does not need to be shut off.

This filter was really easy to install. The water volume capacity is what we wanted. We have it connected to the main kitchen sink faucet. It is inadvertently connected to the refrigerator line as well. Now fridge water is filtered twice.

I had issue with water pressure all so What i found to kick it up a few notches is to run water through the sprayer for a second and it brought the pressure quite a bit. I am much happier my dogs are happy. Win-Win. Very reasonable priced. Hope that help rinsing off your spaghetti!

I just finished installing my new system. The only hard part was fitting myself into the under-sink space. I was worried about the sturdiness of the connections until I got the water turned back on. Not a single drip and the lines are firmly in their places. I’m very pleased with this unit. And I can get back to making my iced tea again!!!

This was very easy for me, as a woman to install, and it saves me lots of money having to go to the water store and get water containers filled every month. This last several months and filter is easy to replace. and is out of the way, under the sink. I bought one that was hooked to the faucet and was always inthe way. this one was just right. and out of the way.

Product was pretty easy to install, had everything needed to complete the job, only downfall is that it slows down the cold water flow, eventually I installed a seperate faucet just for the filter, works really well and the water tastes good.

Works great. Easy install using existing connections. This simply replaced the hose between your cold water valve and the sink itself. All hardware and hose included. Took out all of the sulfur smell that was coming from this single cold water line.

I had this installed under my kitchen sink about a week back. It does a good job of removing chlorine odor and bad taste. However when I tested the water with a TDS meter it gave a 540+ ppm. TDS stands for Total dissolvable solids and according to federal regulations drinkable water should have less than 500 ppm. So this filter is not good at removing TDS.

Seemed to hook up well.

Very easy to install but make sure you can access the 1/2 inch pipe below the cold facet otherwise you will need an adapter to the 1/4 female tube that most new facets have factory installed

Easy to install

Easy to install but faucet and water line connectors could be better quality. My kitchen has 3/8″ connections on both the faucet and the water supply. The kit included parts for only one such connection. If I hadn’t had spare parts of my own I would have had to return to the store to find them.So far, it’s working as advertised but haven’t run a water quality test yet.

I used to have a Pur faucet filter, but I replaced my sink and faucet with a single hole sink and pull out faucet and could no longer use that filter. I’m on city water and use a good deal of water for drinking and cooking. While I haven’t gotten sick from the unfiltered water, it always tasted “chloriney”. I searched around for a solution, found this one, read some reviews and thought this was a good solution for my needs- no need to put in an additional tap, nor use the pesky faucet mounted filter. And it didn’t cost too much compared to some of the systems out there.Having worked on fuel, nitrous and air lines for automotive applications, the installation was a walk in the park. I used the advice of one of the previous posters and used the adapter ($2 part, also from HD). Instead of using a razor to cut the tubing, I used some coax cable cutters- designed not to flatten down the cable/tubing. I put it in in less than 10 minutes. Had a leak at first but that was my fault of not fully tightening a connector- real easy to correct. So far so good, it definitely removes the chlorine taste out of the water. My biggest (minor) complaint is it cuts down the water pressure from the cold tap. Being on city water, I have pretty good PSI to begin with. But thinking about it, anything requiring “higher pressure” is usually done with the hot tap (e.g., washing dishes and hands) which is not reduced i pressure. Other stuff like trying to run pasta or fruit/veggies under water takes a little getting used to but is still pretty effective. I wish Consumer Reports reviewed this model, they test for flow rate and filtering effectiveness to see how it stacks up against more expensive units. We’ll see how long the filter lasts. It has a indicator for 6 month change, but I’d rather see a flashing light such as the one on the Pur faucet filter this unit was replacing. Living alone, I bet I use much less cold water than say a family of 4. At $30 a filter, I don’t want to prematurely replace it. Guess I’ll have to judge by how much the chlorine taste comes back lol.

I researched the internet and read lots of reviews before I decited to pick the filter. Needless to say I was a little leary about the push in lines. After figuring where to locate the filter , I marked the holes and mounted the top unit. I removed the cold line to sink and installed the line in the kit. Don’t laugh, a plummer hooked a shutoff valve for the dishwasher on the cold water side (dishwashers are only connected to hot water) the only thing you have to worry about is cutting the tubing straight. I used a heavy duty razor knife. Push the lines in as far as thety will go. once the lines were installed I installed the filter and every thing was good. We live in Florida and are on public water and the water has a odor and taste. Not any more the water is good as in northern mountains . I would highly recommend this unit.
