So far it’s doing good filtering my water. The real test will be how long the media lasts.

It was somewhat difficult to install but no fault of the filter. Didn’t have much room under the sink but once installed it works flawlessly. Good filter for our usage.

The filters GE whole house water filtration are better than Lowe’s but, just without fittings adapters ,filter to a proper and easy connection may the task a little hard.

This is my first step in attempting to filter water coming from our well. My neighbor uses this filter and I think it will work for us too. The challenge now is to DYI plumb it in using PEX pipe. I have purchased the necessary tools to do this job.

Was easy to install. The only problem was that the outlet side was hard to seal.

No more sediment when I drain the bath tubs! When someone suggested a whole house water filter I imagined that would be a very expensive item. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great filter just be careful with the plastic threads they strip very easily with metal fittings! recommend using plastic fittings.

Well I might give this 5 stars except that the unit comes with two different types of screws (one for the wall and one for the filter to bracket, but there is nothing to tell you which is for which) Also, since it comes with screws, you would kind of expect to see anchors, NOPE and then the real kicker! After I paid $70 for this thing and get it all mounted, I realized it is nothing more than a “FILTER HOLDER” and had to go back to spend an additional $30 for a “FILTER”. So while this might be a wonderful unit, the experience was a PITA!

Our water is gross if you look at how much yuck this unit gets out in a 3 month period, and it comes with a gadget to remind you when it is time to change. We love it.

Seems to work well at filtering out sediment from our well water. Has a 2 month timer to remind you to change the filter. Had to recently replace when my old filter (same model) which got sand damage when our well collapsed. New well and I just got the same model since I was happy with the old one.

This was fairly easy for me to install ahead of my water softener to keep loose debris from entering the softener which had already begun after only two months since I installed the softener. I do have quite a bit of plumbing experience though. This should extend the life of the softener. All I had to buy extra was the fittings to go from the 1″ connections on the filter housing to my 3/4″ house plumbing, and the filter itself which was not included.
