The Smart GE Whole House Filtration System is easy to install with push-to-connect fittings. Basic, Advanced, or Premium filter options are available for a custom level of filtration to fit your needs (filters each sold separately). Embedded wi-fi enables you to track water usage, detect water flow or potential leaks, shut on/off your home water supply and receive filter replacement reminders all from your smart phone (requires wifi signal at filter location).

We LOVE our new water filtration and smart system. It has literally been a house saver for us. First off it was SUPER easy to install and get up and running. It was also Super easy to connect the app to my phone and get it up and running. The greatest feature that we found was the one that saved our house. The smart app allows the unit to notify us if there is an unusually large amount of water being used. This came in handy when we were out of town. Our App went off notifying us that there was water running constantly so we had a friend check on the house and it turns out that one of our pipes burst. We would’ve lost everything if it wasn’t for the smart app. Not to mention this filters out everything in our water making it taste amazing. Highly recommend this product for everyone and anyone.

Water filter works great. Easy to change the filter as well. Wifi set up was a bit tedious and took a few tries. The biggest disappointment is that the unit can not be shut off via the app… as it suggest on the box. With the app you can look back at your water usage each day as well as see the live gallons per minute being used.

We have this installed on a well-water system and it’s great peace of mind for our drinking and bathing water. Our pressure tank does about 5 gpm max.. on a good day, with the well pump running… realistically, it’s probably closer to 4 gpm with the pump off. This filter is limited to 4 gpm, so there was a minor reduction in flow but it wasn’t very noticeable to anyone in the house except me. Installation was easy, but I was disappointed to see that they use “shark bite” style fittings. I KNOW they are approved for use, but I still don’t trust them – I’ve seen them fail. When I have some down time I’m going to locate the proper CPVC fittings and fix the install to be a bit more hardened for the long haul. The manual doesn’t specify which fittings to buy for CPVC but just glancing at it I would guess 1″ or 1.25″. We have not tinkered with the monitoring app because frankly it’s not a feature we’re interested in. We were mainly interested in this unit for leak detection/shut-off and filtration and we’re happy on both fronts.

We installed (yes us normal people no plumbers needed) our water system about four months. we’ve had zero problems we love the app that shows how long your filter life is how much water you’re using and it also sends an alert to your phone if you have a water leak. Our toilet was running and just that small amount of water usage triggered an alert to be sent straight to our phone. If it would’ve been anything else or if we were not home to check it gives us great comfort to be able to turn the water off immediately from anywhere.

This whole home water filter works great. Anyone with some basic plumbing knowledge should have no problems hooking this unit up. Our water always has a smell and a little off taste. With this unit the quality of the water we get is noticeably better. Its just more crisp and the obvious off of the water flavor is little to nonexistent. It has the ability to connect to you smart phone so you can always know the condition of your filter. Everyone should have one as it is one of the best additions I’ve ever added to my house. Clean water should be on everyone’s mind because removal of miniscule particulates can make all the difference in taste and quality of all waters not just well but also city connections can benefit from this device.
