When you have a reverse osmosis (RO) system you have the absolute best drinking water because with the pre and post filters, RO membrane you filter out everything and have pure water.Installation is very tricky which is why I have rated it four vs five stars. I have extensive plumbing experience and it took me a trip to HD for extra fittings and almost three hours to install it properly. For my sink top I simply removed my soap dispenser and put in the RO faucet. For the waste line I used option B which is the dry vented p trap installation.I love that you can simply twist and turn the filters for very easy removal and installation. No more special wrenches to lose! The huge plus is you have a storage tank which holds a little over 2.5 gallons of pure water. This is great because we use the water for everything including cooking. You can make a little more than 8 gallons per day of pure water. This unit is much easier to use than the previous pitcher water filter system we had! Plus the water tastes so much better.

Had to replace an old GE reverse Osmosis Filtration System. Easy to install, however a 1/4″ ferrule must be supplied with the system to make it easier to install.

Very good product – replaced an older version of the same product since I was happy with it.

We put this in our motorhome as we have it in Arizona and the water is very bad. The RO really cleans it up.

Except for having to buy some 3/8″ faucet adapters (not included) this water purifier does a great job on my foul smelling/tasting water.

I have had my GE RO system for a year and love it. Easy install. Works great, filters are easy to replace (often cheaper if you buy replacements online). No leaks in my unit at all. Super little unit – I have very alkaline water and this unit did the trick to filter it — water tastes great!

I like the easy filter replacement. Faucet looks classy. Only thing I would suggest is a little “allen” wrench to tighten handle on faucet

This was a replacement of another GE Profile unit that came with my new build home 9+years ago. When it finally gave out, I found this replacement and was a direct ‘bolt-in’ so to speak. I have had this new one for about a month and all is working very well so far.

I like it. But wish that it has a bigger reserved tank.

When I replaced my old RO system that I had for 10 years, I installed this GE Twist and Lock Reverse Osmosis Filtration System, If your not to handy with tools you should go and look at videos on HOW TO, they really help. It only took me about 2 hours to install and 1 trip to Home Depot for some replacement parts. Once installed the system produced great tasting RO water. It comes with a nice chrome water faucet that installs on top of sink. It produces 8.46 gallon per day so that is plenty of water for a family of 4. The filters are very easy to change once your indicator light turns red, you simply turn & twist of the filters. Since this is my first GE RO system I don’t know how long until the filters need to be replaced. The price of the unit is some hat on the high side but you’ll be saving money by Not Buying Plastic Water Bottles.

I ran in to trouble with the 3/8″ drain line that comes from the filter housing, (The Little Black tubing)… the connector on the bottom of the faucet broke off while i was trying to connect the tubing. i was 2/3 rd’s of the way in to the installation, So I re-routed the smaller tube in to the larger drain tube that goes in to the adapter fitting that connects it to the drain.( I know this is a air-gap configuration, So I emulated it in such a way as to prevent back flow and venting issues..) It seems to be working fine, No leaks, But that tubing was way small, And the connector VERY Flimsy.

This is the best thing we have ever done. Installing a GE Profile Series Reverse Osmosis water system. We noticed the change in the taste of our water immediately. Just knowing that the GE Profile Series Reverse Osmosis system is taking out all the harsh chemicals added to water now a days is reassuring enough. Thanks GE for this great product!!

We recently installed this in our country cabin, which is supplied by a cistern. It really is nice to use knowing that the water you are drinking and cooking with are pure and clean. We previously hauled bottled water to use for that purpose and we no longer have to do that. The connections were easy, but I did have to get a hole saw to cut through the counter for the spigot. You will need to make some room under the cabinet for this. This would be good in any home where you use bottled water on a regular basis. The water tastes great and again, just the confidence that it is clean makes us feel better. It eliminates the need for bottled water and we have started filling our large jug to take back to our home in town.

At first I was a littlw concerned by the number of hoses in this system. However, everything I needed was in the box. Water has no noticeable taste. Much better results than the standard fridge filters.

Our plumber son installed the RO for us. Not many issues. Wish there had been a choice on the faucet finish as we don’t have stainless in our other faucets.

Had it installed by a handyman.

Bought this for ease of service. Prior unit filter & RO membrane replacement required removal of RO unit from under sink mounting.
