This is a nice set of oil canister sockets that are made by Apex Tools and marketed under the Gearwrench brand name. The sockets are all 6 point design with a black oxide finish and appear to be durable for their intended purpose. I am not implying they are impact grade sockets but they have the same look. The basic rundown of sizes listed on the package:38mm – Vauxhall36mm – Volvo, VW, Ford Trucks, BMW E3632mm – GM, Saturn29mm – Dodge Cummins27mm – VW, Mini Cooper24mm – Cadilac, BMW

I received my GearWrench oil canister socket set, the sizes in the kit are 24,27,19,32,36, and 38 mm.These will work on most cars or trucks with canister oil filters. These sockets are low profile, which is convenient. I have used them so far for dodge Cummins, ford trucks, and on some Cadillac models.There are quite a few other newer model vehicles you will need these sockets for.Overall, I like that they come in a storage case, and the cartridge filters don’t stick in the sockets.
