I’ve had Snap-on, Cornwell, and other name brand socket sets but GearWrench by far impresses me the most. For the quality and price point the tools come in at you can’t beat them. I haven’t had to warranty any of their tools yet but from what I’ve heard from others is that the customer service department is excellent, as well as if your close enough to one of their tool trucks they’ll swap out tools there as well.

This is perfet for doing work around the house and doing mechanical work on small motors, etc. I also liked how the red palm socket was included. That came in handy for working in tight spaces. That tool saved me time and effort. Overall, I am happy.

Really Nice set, although the sockets can get loose inside the case if jostled around, hence, 3 stars for the case, the yellow clips are cool..5 stars for the tools, though!

Everything in my socket set was cosmetically perfect, except for the 6” extension which was slightly bend, I took a photo of it, filled out the warranty form on the Gearwrench website. A week later I had new one delivered to me. It’s nice to know that their warranty is worth something.

For a mechanic that has a need for all kind of size of socket I would recommend this product. It is well stocked and sometimes you only need just I tiny bit of different size, that will do the trick. you also have the new metric sizing in it so it is great if you have the direction for putting things together it’s great. came in a neat box no damages. waiting a little longer for it but it’s due to the holiday. no problem. Good quality and well made.

I got this set to replace my old Craftsman set that had missing pieces and broken sockets. It comes in a nice plastic case that should last years, if you keep it out of the sun. The rachet is solid and a fine tooth design for use in tight areas. The sockets , short and long, are solid and hold the hex head of the bolt tightly. I have not used any of this with an air or electric driver, but they should be fine. The chrome finish is smooth with no pits or marks. The sockets are all clearly etched with the size and will be visible for the life of the tools
