Description
GearWrench bit sockets are made of chrome with heat treated bases for durability and serviceability. Packed on clip rail sets. GearWrench sockets have serration depths as deep as the fastener and large hard-stamped identification. Entry angle guides fastener. Double line (SAE) and Knurled line (MM) to easily identify standard versus metric sockets.

I have been a builder and remodeler for 50 years, and of course I often have a need to use a ratchet, 1/4” drive. So when I saw this, the GEARWRENCH 1/4 IN. DRIVE METRIC HEX BIT SOCKET SET (6-PIECE), I was interested. I often use hex bit drivers in my work, and I’ve always liked the gear wrench tools. I like this set, and the gear wrench brand in general is always nice quality too. I definitely recommend this!

This is a nice socket set.Metric hex bits are 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6mm. These fit onto a 1/4″ socket wrench. The sockets are nice quality and the chrome finish is attractive. The hex bits are made of good quality metal. It comes with a nice socket holder. All sockets come off and on without issues. There are holes if you want to hang or mount the socket holder onto a wall or surface.Removing, tightening or installing a screw with a metric hex hole is much faster with this. I find myself having to tighten screws on kitchen chairs and table legs every couple months. This makes that job faster. My expectations have been exceeded.

A hex bit socket speeds up the job tremendously. Today, more and more products require assembly and hex bolts are often the bolt of choice. Recently, I was putting together some patio furniture and quickly grew tired of using the hex key supplied by the furniture manufacturer. To speed things up I got the right size hex socket and before I knew I was done. Later on, I wondered how much faster it would go using a drill or impact wrench.

An excellent quality set of hex bit sockets. Well made and feel strong enough to handle any professional or commercial application. It’s always nice to have a set of socket bits rather than the traditional set of individual hex bits on a key ring. These can be put on an impact or adapter for a drill which makes them more functional. This set comes with snap on individual holders for each socket and a nice carrying case to keep things together. A great addition to any toolbox.

A great little metric Hex wrench set with the most commonly used bits on a slide-on rail hlder. Bit sizes are: 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm.The holder has room to add more bits to the set but I have been unable to find the slides sold separately.I am impressed with how well the sockets fit on their slides as they go on easily and stay in place, but also remove easily as well, unlike other similar products I’ve used.Well made, well chromed and appear to be a professional “grade”. Markings are difficult (for this old man) to read and would like to see them stamped larger. Great “knurled” edge to increase grip for finger tightening as well.

Metric Hex Bit set comes in a 6 piece set, the sizes come in : 2mm,2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm,5mm, and 6mm.the sockets are made of chrome ,with heat treated socket bottoms. The socket slide rail provides the sockets to be easily stored. I’ve used many of the sizes for several repairs and projects that used the hex screws, a perfect fit ,was easy to use, with a ratchet available at Home Depot.

These bit sockets are tough and they are convenient if you mount the slider onto your tool wall. The sockets slide in and out but it holds them firmly. The kit comes with 6 sockets ranging from 2mm to 6mm. All are 1/4 in drive. The work well and are built tough. They are all stamped for identification. Professional looking in polish chrome. Looks great in your toolbox.

This little set is great to have around the house if you put a lot of stuff together. I always find myself using the hex keys that come with furniture etc.. that my wife purchases. Having this kit will enable me to use any of my battery powered drivers or ratchets to quickly drive any hex head bolts or screws. The kit includes a rail so you can keep all of the bits orgainzed.

Backed by the Husky lifetime warranty…simply return it to any Home Depot store for a replacement. This 1/4 inch drive ratchet is in my opinion, typical Husky quality. I’m very happy with it so far. Sockets are easy on, easy off with the push button lock and release on the low profile ratchet head. 144 position clutch allows for work in the tightest of spaces. I find the handle very comfortable to grasp and ratcheting action smooth.
