The ideal metric hex (Allen) socket set. As most anyone knows, Allen head bolts can be finicky. Often they’re recessed in a tight space making traditional Allen wrenches just about useless. Also you often find the screw is so tight, a traditional Allen wrench hurts your hands. This (style) set solves both problems. The ball style tip allows for access to screws at any angle without worrying about slippage. And since they will fit any and all your 3/8 drive ratchet attachments, torque isn’t an issue. I needed replacement of these as well as many other tools since losing most of my sets to a fire a few years ago. Most of those came off one of those tool trucks as I was a mechanic nearly 35 years. If you’re familiar with those trucks, can be quite expensive. Well here’s a brand of tools that have pretty much the same quality for a whole lot less. Not only that, there’s a good chance they were made at the same place.

This 4-10 mm drive metric standard length ball hex set has seven pieces. I really like this set because of the metric ball socket because you do not have be directly over the ball socket you can be on a 45 degree angle. I like they are 3/8 drive, I can use them with a 3/8 ratchet and extension. This set has a great slide rail for the sockets and index into a certain position. Great addiction to my tool box and one great set of sockets!

Great set that offers popular sizes that is well made and built to last. Makes assembling boxed furniture so much faster and less stressful. I purchased a 3/8s bit adapter so I can use with my drill and set the torque low so not to spin off head. The tip is rounded which speeds up seating into bolts. The kit comes mounted on a sleeve to help with storage and organization. Good deal on a time saving quality product.

This is my first ball-end hex socket set and they are truly a pleasure to work with in tight spaces. They work well up to about a 30 degree angle, but beyond that they ride out of the hex socket. They work especially well for assembling knocked-down furniture which often come with metric fasteners. They are well made and have an internal detent that locks into the ratchet drive and any extensions with spring-loaded balls. The socket holder even has spring-loaded balls to hold the sockets in place during storage. The storage rack has space for additional holders but I can not find them on-line. It would be nice to add additional sizes but the manufacturer does not appear to offer either larger or smaller hex sockets.

Excellent Hex Set for the Cost! There’s no doubt that this set was engineered to last. They just seem to be made stronger. I’ve had a previous set and they didn’t last very long. These tips just seem to be cut sharper and the tips just grab stronger and perfectly at those hard to get angles. I really enjoy that they come in a nice holding bracket so it helps keep me organized and neat. Overall, for the cost vs the product its a no brainer! Good Set to own! You wont be disappointed.

A better hex set. Its like a hex set but with more functionality. The ball hex does help a lot by not needing to be directedly over hex bolt which can make a lot of jobs more easier. The tools themselves are a good quality and should have in my tool box for many many years to come and should not have to replace anytime in the near future. Sockets are clearly and largely printed.

These socket drive hex bits are a great addition for anyone working with machinery using socket head screws. The metric sizes included here fit most common machine screws. The hex portion of the bit is long enough to allow the ball end to pivot without the socket portion hitting the screw head, an issue with some other brands. The size markings are clear and easily readable.

Haven’t had the opportunity to use them very much but the few times I have they’ve performed well. The ball head allows you to get into hex bolts at an angle which is great for tight spaces on vehicles. Set comes with 7 hex sockets 4 mm thru 10 mm. Also comes with a convenient slide rail for keeping them organized. The sockets are held in place by friction only so only time will tell how well it holds up. Great little set to keep in the tool box and the added rail helps keep the organized.
