I got this 27 piece gear wrench 3/4 drive set because I was looking for a name brand set with a good warranty. It includes a nice long ratchet, a flex handle driver and a sliding driver. It came with 3 extensions a great storage box made of heavy gauge steel and sockets from 7/8 all the way to 2 3/8. My important socket was the 1 3/8 which you can see in use in the pictures. I like the ratchet the most out of the tools I tried before getting this set it just feels good in your hands and has a solid feel as it grabs or ratchets. It was shipped directly to my house with no damage at all. This one was worth it.

If you need a colossally large, king-sized socket set that’s strong enough and big enough to tackle huge sized jobs, then look no more, for you’ve found it. With twenty-one sockets ranging from a ‘small’ 7/8 inch all the way up to a huge 2-3/8ths inches, if you have a job that’s too big for this set then the job is simply too big, period.The sockets are all standard, no metric, the rachet drive is 3/4 inch and is powerful enough and strong enough to take apart a locomotive. But the people at GEARWRENCH try to think of everything, so they also included a huge sliding ‘T’ bar handle, a flex handle and extensions of 5, 8, and 16 (16!) inches. They even throw in a huge tool box to keep it all in one place so when you need it, it’ll be there for you.This is a set for a master mechanic who does industrial sized jobs. If that’s you, then you’ve found the ultimate professional strength socket wrench set. I’m sure this set will outlive me and will likely be in the family for generations to come.

This is one heavy-duty socket set. Our delivery guy had to bring it to us on a hand truck and I can’t even lift the box myself. Gearwrench has included everything my husband needs in a 3/4 inch drive,12-point ratchet and socket set. The pieces are sturdy and thick and feel good in your hands. The set includes two breaking bars, one an adjustable breaking ‘T’ , three extensions with a solid ratchet wrench that has a quick-release button for socket removal and a lever to change directions. It all comes in a case that holds it all neatly with handles on each end. You’ll have to be a big strong person to tote this around. This set is for the true professional.

First off, this is not a toy ratchet set. This is a serious, heavy duty, get the job done tool. The 27 piece GearWrench 3/4 in. Drive 12-Point Ratchet and Socket Set is awesome. The set comes “All in one”. Heavy duty all around. Even has it’s own steel, double handle carrying case. The set has everything you will need from 7/8″ to 2 3/8″ sockets. And a ratchet long enough to make some serious torque. This is not only a tool. It is an investment that will last a long time.

I have to say after getting this twenty seven piece tool set, Gearwrench has set a high bar for quality tools. I am very impressed with this 27 piece 3/4 drive rachet and socket set. It has two breaker bars which are great for leverage. Ever feel like a 3/8 socket is going to snap on you? Not with these 3/4 sockets. Each 12 point socket is hard stamped with the size markings. I can’t wait for them to release a metric set too. The tools are in a very well built steel tool box.

I am impressed with this Gearwrench 3/4 in. Drive 12-Point Rachet and Socket Set (27-Piece). Each piece is built heavy duty for the tough jobs the set weighs 57 pounds. They thought of everything including a ratchet, flex handle/breaker bar & T-handle also 3 extensions 5″,8″,16″. The 21 sockets are twelve point style with surface drive technology to reduce the rounding off of fasteners, the included metal case with handles on each end for carrying makes this heavy set easier to carry. Very impressive and glad to have them.

I’ve wanted a good 3/4 inch drive socket set for a long time, and this 27-piece Gearwrench 3/4 inch drive, 12-point rachet and socket set certainly fills the bill! This set is massive! It includes every size socket from 7/8 inch to 2-3/8 inch plus the 3/4 inch quick-release rachet, a sliding T-handle, a 19-inch flex handle, and three extensions: 5, 8 and 16 inches long. Best of all, it includes a heavy duty metal case to keep it all organized and ready for use. All together, the whole set weighs in at 55 lbs. so don’t order this if you can’t lift that weight. Luckily, the metal case includes strong handles at both ends that makes lifting it a little easier.The 23-point sockets are well designed including Gearwrench’s surface drive technology which prevents rounding over the nut or bolt corners. Tapered hubs minimize excess weight and allow better access and visibility than straight-sided sockets. (See Photo) Socket sizes are clearly and prominently marked on the side of each socket. Fit and finish of all items is excellent.
