Since being patented in 1996, GearWrench has been the leader in ratcheting wrenches, with more styles and sizes than any other brand. GearWrench premier mechanics hand tools are designed to meet the tough requirements of Automotive Technicians and Industrial users. Their hand tools are made from chrome steel alloy, which is specially formulated and heat treated for strength and superior resistance to corrosion. The 120XP product line is forged with these same values, strong enough to hold up to the rigors of fulltime use yet precise enough to offer a 3° swing arc to access those hard to reach fasteners.
- 120 positions, 3° ratcheting arc
- Double-stacked pawls engage a 60-tooth gear providing strength that exceeds ASME specifications
- Teardrop low profile head and flush mounted on/off switch allow better access in tight spaces
- Enclosed head design for extreme resistance to dirt infiltration
- Longer reach handle to access hard to reach fasteners
- Full polish chrome handle
- Highly visible on/off markings on the head
- Meets or exceeds ASME B107.10

I have several of these, I use a wide variety of tools from Gearwrench, Crescent, Stanley, Craftsman, Kobalt, Proto, SK, Dewalt, Power Torque, Duralast, Cobra, Teq Pro and others. I like tools of a wide variety , every tool has a purpose and I’m digging the new craftsman gun metal chrome but when it comes to a super nice ratchet with smooth operation the 120XP is nice but I fine that the 84 Tooth are stronger with major torque compared to the 120The China made junk isnt that strong but Taiwan metal is better, too bad it’s not made in the USA because it would give Snap On a harder run for the money.Alot of guys on YouTube put these ratchets to the test but so far, I’m pleased with mine.

I use mine every day in my small mechanic shop and it holds up well. I love the feel of it. The chrome plating, however does where thin after significant use. I’ve also had a little trouble with the head popping apart if it gets dropped with an extension on it (I think this could be remedied with a new snap ring). I still love it and would buy another!
