Another nice heavy duty 3/8″ socket ratchet driver, this one with a longer than normal handle . This wrench has a rubber padded long handle setup, which is so logical, since you normally would use a longer handle socket wrench to get more torque on a bolt or nut. Sometimes you might put a piece of pipe on the socket handle to get that torque, but this wrench alleviates that problem by making the handle pretty long for a good amount of torque ability. I do like the padded handle end as when putting large torque on a bolt, you can bruise your hand with simple non-padded handles. This does help protect your hand from excessive torque and bruising pretty well. The rubber handle also makes it easier to grip. I can highly recommend this quality tool to add to a stocked tool box.

I use this item about every other weekend to work on various projects and this ratchet is so comfortable. The 90 tooth design is just a quality single paw design that hasn’t failed me yet. I have tons of ratchets ranging from various other well know brand names and I’ve been using this as my go to ratchet for vehicle repairs. Find the non standard length an asset when needed.

I received my GEARWRENCH 3/8-inch ratchet today; this is a long handle ratchet (13 inches long). This ratchet will provide plenty of leverage for most any job that requires a 3/8-inch ratchet. The ratchet is a 90-tooth model, which is exactly right for durability, and you only need a small amount of space for the handle swing.Overall, I like that this GEARWRENCH ratchet comes with a low-profile head and a large easy-to-grip handle plus a Lifetime warranty.

I built a gazebo on my deck but reinforced the contact points with 4×4 and 2×6 pressure treated lumber. I had to drive 5.5 inch lag bolts into this structure. I didn’t want to weaken the hold of the bolts so I was careful to not drill too large a hole.My quality electric drill quit pretty soon. After a few inches, I couldn’t turn my ratchet anymore so I put a piece of pipe on the end. It was OK but the pipe kept slipping. I have a 24″ torque wrench, but it’s not a ratchet so I had to reposition it often. It’s obvious where this is going: this Gearwrench was just the right tool for the job, giving strong 90 tooth action and plenty of leverage.Just one weird thing…the selector said “on” and “off” when I looked for “tighten” and “loosen.” No problem, really, you don’t read the selector when you use it.

The Gearwrench ratchet is a plus tool to have in your tool box. It has a longer handle than most rachets thirteen inches, which gives you more leverage to break loose stubborn nuts. The ninety tooth ratchet drive gives you turning power in tight places. The chrome finish and rubber handle blend for a good looking as well as a strong tool. I highly recommend this product for any mechanic needing just the right tool

GEARWRENCH 3/8 IN. DRIVE 90 TOOTH 13 IN. L HANDLE DUAL MATERIAL TEARDROP RATCHETThis ratchet has a smooth ratcheting action. The 13 inch long handle give you plenty of leverage to get the job done. The handle is comfortable and warm on those cold days. The 90 tooth drive system makes ratcheting in those tight areas a little more possible. Definitely recommend this ratchet if you need a good 3/8’s ratchet

The ratchet has a rubberized handle that makes it easier to hold and pull hard on. The number of teeth in the ratchet lets you make movement with only 4 degrees of swing. The rubberized end makes me hesitant to use the hanging hole of other tools to get more leverage without damaging it, but a pipe extension is easy. Overall build is strong and the click to add sockets is fine.

Ordered the long handle low profile socket wrench to access fasteners in tight spaces where there is limited access and a lot of torque is required. I particularly like the long thin high strength 13 inch handle with a comfortable padded grip which provides for maximum torque limiting the need for a breaker bar which may not fit into tight spaces. The small head and tight 4 degree swing arm provided by the 90 tooth pawl further facilitates access and utility in hard to reach spaces. I also like the “On” and “Off” indicators on the wrench indicating the function of the ratchet either taking fasteners on or off. Nice looking durable wrench is an excellent addition to my tool box for special situations that inevitably materialize working on my cars and boats. The Lifetime warranty on the tool is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended supplement to any tool kit.

This is a very high quality socket wrench. I have several other GEARWRENCH tools and have been very happy with all of them. The socket operates very smoothly and the handle is just a little longer than standard socket wrenches for that extra bit of torque you need sometimes. The handle is very comfortable and provides a nice, positive grip. A very nice tool that makes a great replacement for a lost of broken socket wrench, or maybe just a nice upgrade for yourself!

I can never seem to have enough ratchets when I need it. It’s always good to have an assortment. This GEARWRENCH 3/8 in. Drive 90 Tooth 13 in. L Handle Dual Material Teardrop Ratchet is a good addition to my tool box. The handle is very comfortable. The direction switch is labeled with on/off which is rather ingenious. The distance from the socket attachment to the end of the handle is 12.5 inches sand the overall length is 13
