This ratchet has a long handle. It’s not quite a breaker bar, but it still can give you some serious leverage to be reckoned with. I like the smooth round handles that don’t dig into my hand when wrenching. 84 teeth give it some flexibility while positioning it. The price of this is very respectable and it has a lifetime warranty. I think it will perform as well as the high cost professional brands.

Here is another great product from GearWrench. This is not the first GearWrench product owned. It is of good solid construction. It has a decent weight to it. The switch is marked on/off and easily readable. The switch is solidly in place in either setting yet switches easily. The switch doesn’t seem to *slip* or stick at mid setting. If it does get in a mid setting when turning the ratchet it will return to on or off. It advertises a chrome finish that resists corrosion. Time will tell on that. The finish is nice and wipes easily. It’s a great addition to any tool collection.

I haven’t had the opportunity to use this. I just got this and haven’t had a reason to use it. It is well made and I am sure that it will work well. Having an extra socket is definitely nice to have especially when you have a house, two cars and a 5th wheel. It is nice to have tools in each place so getting an extra ratchet is very nice to have. I look forward to trying it out

This GearWrench ½ in. Drive Ratchet is nice. The teardrop shape head and flush mounted on/off switch allows it to fit in tighter places than some other ratchets. The full chrome polish finish makes it easy to keep clean. The round handle with slight taper is easy on the hand and provides a good grip. However, the finish also makes it slippery with oily/greasy hands. The 84 tooth gear is nice and tight. Though it doesn’t have a socket release button, the detent ball holds sockets well, and releases easily. This ratchet is about ¾ in. longer than my other ratchets, providing for a bit more leverage. This is now my “go to – grab first” ratchet. It is a quality tool with a LIFETIME WARRANTY.

I have only used one well known brand of 1/2 in. drive socket wrenches in my life. So this was a gamble to me to try something different. This gamble paid off. This is a strong, sturdy 1/2 in. drive socket wrench. It does not have a ball release for the sockets. But in using it I don’t mind. I thought I would but I don’t. I like the 84 tooth feature. You can get more torque in tighter places. It is a good tool to invest in.

This ratchet was purchased on clearance and has been a great tool so far. It isn’t as smooth as some of the higher tooth counts (like the 120XP), but it is a workhorse and it will be hard to break this tool if you don’t abuse it. This has taken all the force I can generate by hand and has not skipped a beat. For the cash, this is a great product.

The 1/2The 1/2″ drive Gearwrench, is absolutely one of the best ratchet wrenches I’ve used. Im an industrial mechanic, and been using ratchet wrenches for over 30 years. This one fits in your hand like a glove, with the teardrop handle design. Also with the thinner rounded handle, you can put a cheater bar over the handle a lot easier, versus the flat handled ratchet handles. Comes in handy putting a cheater bar onto the handle when needing to break nuts and bolts that are really bound up. And the 84 tooth head on the wrench, really adds extra strength to this ratchet. Would give any serious mechanic, or weekend warrior years of dependable service. Would highly recommend this ratchet !

This 1/2″ drive ratchet is heavy duty and with its length, very useful. Sometimes you need a little more leverage to tighten or loosen a socket on a bolt and the hefty, longer handle on this ratchet makes that happen. It has 84 teeth so will work faster than some ratchets that only have half that number of teeth. It’s shiny (polished) and looks nice too as a bonus. A good addition to your toolbox.

The fit and finish on the ratchet is super nice and very smooth chrome. This ratchets design is super nice and doesn’t feel like a club in your hand due to the handle design. It just feels right in your hand and gives confidence on a hard pull. The 84 toothed head makes working in tight or small areas very easy since it takes less than 10 degrees to get a click forward or reverse. The ratchets forward and reverse selector is easy to use and has a very positive click when moving from forward to reverse. The selector is semi recessed so it won’t hang up on things like wiring. The socket detent is smooth and holds sockets firmly. The head of the ratchet is 1-5/8″ wide, 1-3/8″ deep overall and has an overall length of 11″. The ratchet has a “C” clip that can be removed for cleaning and maintenance. Overall this is a very nice ratchet that has the fit and feel of a much more expensive tool. And with a lifetime warranty I don’t see a better ratchet out there on the market!

Great product no issues, shipped quickly. 84 tooth ratchet for the price you can’t compare. Ditch those high price brands this performs just as good.

This is a well-made ratchet and its polish is second to none. Allows for easy cleanup. It is heavy and feels substantial which I like in a tool. It has a “low profile head and flush mounted on/off switch allow better access in tight spaces.” They say “on/off” switch I think of it as “clockwise” or “counter-clockwise.” The switch is solid which my old ratchet would sometimes slips into reverse un-expectantly. The ratchet will give you that little extra because of the 84 tooth in tight spaces and also a little less ratcheting.
