This breaker bar is just the right size. If you need more leverage, there are extensions available. This is a very well built little bar. It fits in places the larger ones just don’t . It is made of high quality steel and is well polished and finished. There are no sharp edges. The head swings freely but is mounted well. The handle is well polished and comfortable. As usual, there is a limited lifetime warranty

The Gearwrench 1/2 drive breaker bar will do the job. The breaker bar is a total of 15 inches long. It has a chrome plating that is fully polished so it will resist rust and corrosion. The head swivels 180 degrees. The handle is ergnometric so it reduces fatigue while using it. Looks good and it is very strong. Will be a good addition to your tool box at home or work.

This is a high quality breaker bar that I will reach for when trying to loosen a frozen or rusty bolt. Gearwrench calls it a Flex Handle I guess because of the flexible head but I use it to break free bolts – hence breaker bar. When using this wrench I recommend using 6 pt. sockets as they will not slip and strip the bolt. If the bolt or nut is being particularly tough to get off, I will use a piece of black pipe to extend the handle and provide me with more leverage. See pics.

The 1/2′ GearWrench Breaker Bar is a quality tool. It has a highly polished finish that I would expect only with a higher end tool. The overall length of the bar is 15″ (14″ from the swivel to the end of the handle). I have had problems with the pin on a previous breaker bar loosening up and eventually falling out. This bar has a steel allen head bolt in place of the pin, which I would hope would stay more secure. I am well pleased and would order this wrench again.

Heavy! Was surprised how much this weighed, but that is what it needs to be to really work on some of these tough bolts that just won’t come off with conventional ratchet type wrenches. The head moves nicely to give you different angles. Great tool to add to my collection. Great quality of tool, haven’t broke it, which I do a lot of these tools, hopefully doesn’t though!

Excellent tool. The only thing it needs is to be used. Good quality chrome plating and long enough to give you good leverage. The ball secures the sockets sure enough that falling off will not be a problem. I put one drop of light oil on the ball and the flex joint and they work as smooth as butter. The tool feels good in your hand which is a plus to a person who uses them frequently. Should last many years.

STRONG; LONG HANDLE — The GearWrench 1/2 in. Drive 15 in. Full Polish Flex Handle is helpful when accessing hard to reach places, particularly when working on a vehicle. The 15″ length makes it easy to reach those places. I have a 3/8″ drive flex handle but it does not have the heft that this one does to also enable it to be used as a breaker bar. ½” sockets fit well on it. It has a limited lifetime warranty. It is made in Taiwan.

Gearwrench tools are engineered for strength, efficient and comfortable use and with the professional in mind. This tool is absolutely no exception! It has a very ergonomic grip, great size for enough leverage to break loose most stubbornly tight nuts and bolts, is easy to clean and incredibly durable. This tool is professional grade and sold at a very reasonable price. It saves me time and money and I highly recommend it!

This Gearwrench 1/2 inch breaker bar is excellent for changing tires it get the lugs right off with ease. Gearwrench brand tools are top quality tools right up there with Snap On and Mac tools, for less money and that’s no joke. I used my 6 point deep well 1/2 inch drive sockets and changed my truck tires without any issues. if you like top of the line tools for less money buy Gearwrench tools.

This is a good quality tool for anyone that works on vehicles, at a job-site, or home. We’ve all came across a nut that would not break without the right tool and the right leverage. This is one of those items you need in the tool box.My observations after usage and inspection:• The quality is solid. I couldn’t find any areas concern. The chrome finish is consistent and the mechanism works without any issue. This finish should resist corrosion as you might expect.• Connecting the socket was tough the first time however it loosened up after a few uses and was easy (still with the right amount of resistance) to connect/disconnect after that.• Handle has a good grip and of course better when wearing gloves.• Using the tool is straight forward and easily meets expectations.Overall, it’s a good choice and has a generous warranty to cover defects, etc. I really would expect this tool to easily last for decades under normal usage. I recommend.
