The GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are durable tools for most jobs. They are made from alloy steel with either a full polish or satin finish that resists rust & corrosion. The off-corner loading design on both ends provides a stronger grip on fasteners, reduces fastener rounding, and delivers up to 25% more torque to the fasteners. Sizes are stamped on the beam for quick, easy, & permanent identification. The box end is offset 15° for increased access to fasteners. The fifteen piece long fixed combination wrench set is an fine addition to any tool set, the sizes range from a quarter inch to a full one inch open end, box end wrench.They come in a handy carrying and provide multiple sizes for most standard SAE bolts. The size of the wrench is clear on both sides and a big plus is they have a lifetime warranty, I highly recommend this product

Great value at $6 a wrench. When you need a long wrench for those tough to loosen nuts and bolts you need it. The wrenches have a very smooth chrome finish and feel good in your hand. Not sure what kind of steel they are made of and they say that they are manufactured in China but they do come with a “Limited Lifetime Warranty” so that is a plus. The box end does not ratchet but for those hard jobs you want a plain wrench without the mechanics that can break.

As with all Gearwrench products, this wrench set brings more bang for the buck in terms of value and quality compared to other tool brand to include the more professional tool truck brands. The beams are nice and straight with excellent chrome with both box end and open end broaching nice and uniform. Fitment of fastener is excellent with tight engagement. Highly Recommend.

This review is for GEARWRENCH 15-piece SAE, long pattern combination wrench set, Product No. 81901. The sizes provided are 1/4″, 9/32″, 5/16″, 11/32″, 3/8″, 7/16″, 1/2″, 9/16″, 5/8″, 11/16″, 3/4″, 13/16″, 7/8″, 15/16″ and 1″. The box ends are 12-point. The open ends have off-corner loading notches to increase fastener grip and to reduce corner rounding of fasteners. All of the wrenches are longer than for any similar set I have owned or used, that providing for extra torque and better reach into tight spaces. These wrenches have a high-end look and feel. They have a quality polished chrome-plate finish that cleans up easily after use. The sizes are deeply stamped into the handles and at the open ends so that they are easily seen and will not wear off with repeated use. Included is a handy polypropylene plastic organizer that I expect will not outlast the wrenches. This set has a lifetime warranty and is priced well for the quality provided. So far I have used this set to work on lawn and garden and automotive equipment, it working very well. This product is an excellent addition to my toolbox.

Really a nice combination wrench set, long and heavy duty from 1/4″ to 1″ complete. The holder is really nice also, easily put in and removed with just a slight twist and it removes easily and to replace push in and a slight twist to lock in place. Nice design, this will stay mounted to a wall instead of like others take apart an put in a tool box which makes it hard to find the correct size. These come with a real nice polish so should be easy to keep clean. Highly recommend this tool set.

This GearWrench 15 piece SAE long fixed combination wrench set has non-ratcheting box ends. It comes with an open front storage case that has a handle for carrying. Nice feature to have. They all have a chrome polish and the size is stamped on both sides. The ends have an offset boxed end, in my opinion makes them easier to use. Fairly heavily made set. The storage case is just a bit over 14.5”, with the longest wrench being approximately 14” and the shortest 5” long. I really like them. Says they are manufactured in China. Lifetime Warranty. Fantastic!

I have used a lot of wrenches some better than others some very expensive off A truck. This set rose above all they fit nice and snug on the heads so no rounding there is enough handle so breaking stubborn bolts is easier and with the long pattern they have plenty of reach to get to hard to reach bolts I would buy this set over truck sold wrenches any day

The 14-inch combination set of wrenches (15 pieces in all) was a surprising bargain for tools, considering the quality of the wrenches. I have in the past used Snap-On and Bonney and the GearWrench tools feel close, if not equal to both brands. Cost wise, it is a bargain for the home DIY or the professional mechanic. In checking with the Home Depot (and the GearWrench written warranty), these tools come with a limited lifetime warranty, basically, the same as the other major tool companies. There is, however, a lot to be said about dealing with Home Depot rather than a Tool Truck. The wrenches themselves fit well in hand and the longer length gives them the extra leverage to loosen stubborn nuts or bolts. They clean up easy and so far, I haven’t noticed any scratching from them being used. The V-Rack holder is nice to keep the wrenches in place and not rattling around the bottom of the tool box. However, my preference would have been for a pouch, the V-Rack takes too much room for my liking. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase the Metric Set to match these.

Gear Wrench 15 piece combination wrench set with carrying case. Sizes range from 1/4 inch to 1 inch. They seem to be a very nice set of wrenches. They work well, comfortable in my hand. I have never heard of this brand before so I looked them up and they are a division of Apex tool group which owns Crescent. I have several adjustable crescent wrenches so if they are as good as those I would be very happy. So far I am!. I would recommend these wrenches.

Finally got a full set of wrenches. I have been using a piece mill set of wrenches for as long as I can remember broke down and got this 15 piece set in metric and SAE. If your like me your go to tool has been an adjustable wrench because you need a metric and all you have are SAE. Problem solved and the nice thing is these are longer in length giving you a little extra torque, but this seems to also be a negative if you don’t have clearance. So far not a problem but can see where it may be.
