The GearWrench 5 in. (4 in. on the package) Mini Long Nose Pliers are perfect for getting into tight places or dealing with small items.I can’t begin to count the number of times I had a need for needle nose pliers but once I got them into position the space was too small to open the jaws. These pliers are perfect for such scenarios. They feel very well built and have a good feel in the hand. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the spring opening; it makes it a little awkward to use.Overall, this is a specialty tool that has a place in every tool box.

These mini long nose pliers are great for getting into tight areas or doing fine work on smaller objects. The ergonomic handles with rubber over mold are very comfortable and easy to hold even with wet hands. The tool is spring loaded which makes operation a breeze and as an added bonus, the spring is hidden so it won’t get in the way when you are trying to grip the pliers.

I have several larger long nose or needle nose pliers but some were too big for the smaller jobs or in tighter spaces. Great for doing electrical wiring work. Small enough to use even in jewelry making and small household jobs These are perfect for those jobs. They feel good in the hand. My only concerns are how long the spring will last and that they do not lock in the closed position for storage. I guess time will tell. I am pleased with them so far after several uses.

This is a well built small set of pliers. I happen to need this small size a lot in the jobs I work on. I like the fact these open when released and the spring mechanism is fairly well done and tucks into the handle well and sits close against the plier out of the way. I hate those small pieces of spring steel used on the cheap pliers. This is much better. The grips are well made and are not the type that are prone to slipping any time soon. For my use (small delicate electrical projects) these are perfect. I find these a very comfortable size for my hands which are probably a basically medium size. (I wear a medium to large kevlar safety glove to give an idea)

The nose part is nice and long, and meet together evenly, for a 5 inch Mini Long Nose Pliers compared to other ones I have owned these are well made. The nose part also works well for bending and gripping parts. The quality is decent, and the handles are comfortable. This tool has a nice finish and looks and handles very nicely . These have a much finer “point” than most ones that I have used.

These little needle nose pliers are the greatest, easy to handle and work just great. I have a lot of solar lights in my yard and the needle nose pliers come in very handy working on the lights.. Just great to handle the small screws in the solar lights. They are a great addition to any tool box. They are small enough so that you can reach into many small areas.

Small, robust pair of spring-loaded needle nose pliers with cushioned grips. These are hugely useful. Though small, they feel more than sturdy enough to handle real work. They are reasonably slim, good for tight spaces, but equally suited to craft projects and other precision work. These grip evenly from the tips back and include a wire cutter next to the hinge. The spring loaded handle is a convenient touch, and help keep these firmly in hand when you’re using them. Overall, a very useful small tool, and the lifetime warranty is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

USEFUL SIZE BUT DOESN’T CLOSE in DEFAULT POSITION — The Gearwrench 5 in. Mini Long Nose Pliers fits easily into my hand. It has been an excellent tool for doing electrical work. The long nose and small size makes it easy to bend electrical wires into loops for attaching to outlets or switches. It has a convenient, sharp wire cutter. It has a lifetime warranty. The one feature that I do not like is that it has a spring to keep the jaws and handle open unless force is used to close them. I have never seen such a pliers before. I called Gearwrench asking what the purpose of them staying open was, and the agent did not know. Being open in the default position also makes it harder to fit into my tool holders.

First of all the package says, “4 inch long nose mini pliers”! They are actually five inches long. But moreover this is a quality tool for tight tedious work. Made of a high grade metal with a inner cuttingedge as well as a good inch long needle head with ridges for slip not while holding item.Handles made of a rubberized substance for a non-slip grip and comfortable to work with.Welcomed tool!

A good little tool for delicate work. This GearWrench mini-pliers tool (Model 82011, Made in Taiwan) is comfortable to hold and grips tiny items well. I use it in electronics work, and it has s small wire cutting blade built in. The spring-loaded jaws are a mixed bag as there is no “lock”; the handles pop open when not held closed. The spring can get a little tiring during extended periods. The handles are over-molded in a textured rubber-like material for good grip, but they are a little thick for such a small tool in my opinion. Quality is fine, although oil is still leaking out of the pivot joint two weeks after I opened them. The pliers are somewhat over-priced compared to similar tools or tool sets but GearWrench is a well-known brand. You won’t be disappointed using them.
