Really cool set of Mini Pliers with GearWrench quality. I inherited some small pliers from my father who was a clock maker but they have been either abused or lost. Hey, you know kids. As an old retired toolmaker I appreciate quality and these have it. Really sharp cutters and the jaws line up perfectly. What is critical to me is the auto open spring. You just squeeze and let go and you are ready for the next step. I really like the end cutting nippers. They cut almost dead flush and if you are careful they will pull a brad with ease and not mar the surface. I use the needle nose to bend and insert 18 gage copper wrapping around my wood bow ties. I was a little confused over the dual-material but that is the handle covers which are really nice and comfortable in my large hands.

If you are working with small parts, you need small tools. My hobbies include electronics as well as model railroads. So I spend a lot of time working with small parts. These players are small enough to grip small parts, as well as cut small wires. Yet they are comfortable to hold. The pliers are spring-loaded to stay open. They use actual coil springs with the coil at the joint, and legs attached to the handles. This gives you smooth operation, without the spring getting the way.

The pliers are of almost gem like quality and work very well. As a bonus, the storage tray fits very well in one of the drawers in my toolbox to keep the pliers nicely organized. An excellent value for the price.

This is a very nice set of various pliers/cutters. It has five different sized and shaped tips for various jobs. Note that they are “spring-loaded” so when not gripped, they automatically open. They are a good quality steel with hard plastic handles. They came well oiled and have smooth action/movement to them. They come in a plastic holding tray that they stay in well, but its not a case. Its a good set to have for handling various jobs.

This 5 piece mini pliers set is perfect for a person doing crafts. Hence I gave the set to my wife for her craft use. Her first use was the diagonal side cutter and found them to be very nice for her project. I like the spring opening which makes them more useful in my opinion. They have a very comfortable grip and are also slim enough to fit in close in spaces. They seem to have the quality I expect from tools I purchase. Yes I would recommend them!

When size matters, GearWrench has a great set of mixed mini “Dual Material” pliers. There are 5 pliers in this set. The largest plier in this set is the 5-1/2 inch needle nose pliers. There is also a 4-1/2 inch diagonal cutting plier, 5 inch long nose plier, 4-1/2 inch end cutting nipper plier and a 5-1/4 inch flat nose plier. The “Dual Material” plier refers to the 2 materials in the handle. Each plier is spring loaded to the open position to reduce hand fatigue.I plan to use these pliers for construction of Radio Control Airplanes where construction access is limited. I would recommend this GearWrench Plier Set to any hobbyist or DIY person or technician working on small assembly parts.

Another great set of tools from Gearwrench. This is a great set of mini pliers for the DIYer, Pro, Hobbyist and Craftsperson who needs to have a small set of tools to work on and with small parts. These pliers are spring loaded to open when not in use and also open and close very easily. These have a nice comfortable handle. t would have been nice if they came in some sort of case rather then a flimsy plastic tray.

The GearWrench Mixed Mini Dual Material Plier Set (5-Piece) has the most needed mini pliers I use in my workshop. With their small profile heads, durable, soft, grippe cushioned slim handles, streamlined lengths and flush finish rivet pivots, I can get into tighter work areas than with my regular plier sets. These are some well made pliers. The spring design is very well done with the springs fastening securely through holes in the handles rather than stuffed down the handle cover like some cheap ones. I have another (much more expensive) very nice set of single small snips by a very reliable maker and these compare very well with those. The spring design I would rate better even. It’s one of the best I’ve seen for small pliers. The handles are well made and comfortable. The steel is holding up well so far and I put them through a pretty good workout over the holidays using them to help wire up a few miles of wire for Christmas lighting and then take it all down again. When you have that much wiring to do you need a solid set of pliers and these are just that. Good and solid.

Seems like we were always looking for more compact tools to complete some detail work in our home and business…. these little pliers are a lifesaver! They are strong and sturdy, just like the larger versions, but they are solid and get the job done! My husband rolled his eyes at me when I brought them home, but he’s always asking where they are so he can use them! Nice variety of tools, great grips, and the red accents make them easy to spot.
