This is a quality set of nut drivers for many uses. Working on a number of projects from hose clamps to chain saws, these are handy drivers. I love the big rubber handles its make turning the driver easier. The rubber handle is also nice working around electricity. The color coded top makes finding what you need quick. I wish the sizes label was larger to make it easier to read. The seven sizes are all you need for most jobs. These will go in my rolling toolbox in the shop. I would like to have a metric set of the same.

Hollow Shaft SAE Nut driver setFor once a manufacturer has considered the fact that tradesmen wear tool belts. Most nut drivers have the size clearly visible while the tool is on its side, in a drawer, in a toolbox. Granted most shop mechanics use their tools from their tool box and back again when the use is complete. GearWrench has finally considered the tools in a tool belt need color coding and sizing visible while looking down at the bag. The tools also have hollow shanks so a long bolt will fit into the handle while the technician can access the fastener. GearWrench has again hit a home run both the technician and the stationary mechanic can get full use from these nut drivers.

Good enough but why didn’t they color code the wrenches? in truth they tried with paint on the end of handle rather than colored the clear uniquely for each size. Hollow shaft too small in diameter to fit around/over bolt threads: 1/2″ driver for coupler doesn’t fit over 3/8″ ALLTHREAD rod –useless. No 9/16″ driver in the kit for 3/8″-16 course threaded hex nut used by electricians, HVACR, and plumbers daily to hang equipment and fixtures from drop-in anchors, beam clamps.

In my work I can’t just get by on just “a nutdriver”, I need the assortment. For me, the nutdriver is the quick “go-to” tool for most hex head screws and nut fasteners under 1/2″.This Gearwrench nutdriver set is a perfect set to have in my toolbag. It includes 7 range sizes 3/16″ – 1/2″ in 1/16″ increments.What I like most is the cushion rubber grip handles and the stamped driver size on the driver shaft. I also like the carrier organizer which makes it perfect for storing the driver set on a workbench peg board.Construction is great, however, the hollow shaft seems a bit narrow, I had a snug fit on some course threaded studs.I typically identify my nutdriver sizes by color; red for 1/4″, yellow for 5/16″ ………. I wish the handle color was a little more evident where the shaft meets the handle. Otherwise I really enjoy this well made nutdriver set.

GearWrench SAE Nutdriver Set (7 pc). These have hollow shafts to allow you to thread nuts a good distance on a threaded rod. Steel shafts. Good size rubber grips for added leverage. Sizes from 3/16″ to 1/2″. Ends are color coded and marked with nut size. Nice carrying and storage case. Need to cut off 2 taps on back of case (look for scissor markings) and hand pry open tabs on each end (back side) to open case. There is a wire cable on the smallest size. This may keep the driver from falling out of the case. Overall a nice driver set.

Excellent quality nut drivers. Hollow shafts to allow nuts to be tightened or loosened over longer bolts. I used them to do a tune up on my recumbent bike. Nice rubber handles make loosening tight bolts a breeze. The socket portion is deep enough to prevent slipping off the bolt. Very nice carrying case to keep them organized. A must have for toolboxes.

I wanted to have a great set nutdrivers on hand when I do mechanical work, these fit the bill great. The drivers have a great grip which are pleasant to hold and seem to keep your hands from not tiring to quickly, What I really like about this set also are the way the tops of the drives are each marked and colored coded with the size of the driver. Makes it very convenient when using them.

This set of seven SAE nut drivers are a nice addition to my ever growing collection of tools. They have hollow steel shafts that enable you to tighten down nuts on long bolts. The handles are ergonomic and feel good in your hand, the ends of the handles are color coded for the different sizes. They come with a carrying holster that can also be hung on a wall or tucked into a drawer.

Gear Wrench SAE Nut Driver. Throw those old plastic handle nut drivers away, this is the set for the casual handyman or professional mechanic. The rubber coated handles make for excellent grip, and they are thicker for easy grip. There are 7 sizes in the set and they are marked easy to read on the end of of handle so size markers won’t wear off. The sizes are 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2.
