I don’t know why, but I love LED lights. I have been infatuated with finding cool LEDs and work lights. This 12.5-inch work light fits the bill of my requirements. I have been working on my side-by-side and changing the exhaust. This has a magnetic base and lasted almost all day. It recharges fairly quickly and lasts a long time. I dropped it many times while looking for nuts that fell off the bolts. It is still kicking. The light portion is thin which is great for tight spaces. It does not feel cheap and folds up nicely.

If you’ve ever seen my reviews you know I have a thing for light sources. I have so many flashlights, lanterns, etc., it’s ridiculous. Nevertheless, I added one more, and I love it! This little guy is bright, and so flexible that it can handle any task. I first used it to change a single 20A socket to a dual 15A receptacle in the garage. I was able to use the magnet to see the circuit breakers, and then flip it up to light the work area. And then fold it down to fit snugly in my tool box. The light head flips 180 degrees from shining down to shining up, has two power settings for brightness, plus has a light at the point to peer into small spaces. The only thing “wrong” with it is the charger. I mean, it’s great that you can charge it via USB, and even gives you an A/C chock like a smartphone so you can plug it into the wall. But why in the heck didn’t they use a micro USB? I have those cables scattered everywhere. With a specific, dedicated power adapter, I know I’m going to be rummaging around for it in the future.

What a awesome work light that can be recharged threw a AC or USB outlet. The charge indicator light is very useful to make sure your not under or over charged. The led light at the top is pretty bright at 30 lumens and the main led has two settings for bright at 250 lumens and super bright at 500 lumens. The magnet and hook at the end is very useful plus the work light is small enough to fit in your pocket. The Low battery warning starts flashing when there are five minutes of power remaining.

Very high quality light with 3 different levels of light. Magnetic base to hold it in place freeing your hands to get things done. Very bright to illuminate a fairly large area with the flexability to adjust the angle for just the right light. Handy hook to hang the light from. This product should last a ling time. NICE that it is rechargeable with no cords to get in the way and no batteries to replace.

The work light is very easy to use. I liked that the work light is ultra thin, adjustable and rechargeable. When the 500 lumen highest setting in on, you can see in the dark very well. The top light is useful when you need just enough lighting in a small space. The magnet will be helpful and free up my hands when I need to go look for something in my metal storage container in the evenings. It will also allow me to be hands free in order inspect my car engine when I am in the garage.

All around a great flashlight. Better than I expected. The magnet is strong so you have to worry about knocking it off stuff. Worth every penny.

This light has a magnetic base so it can stick on some surfaces and free up your hand. It has low and high along the bar and a focused light at the end. It does not swivel so if you want to move it you must turn the whole thing, but it sits very stable on a flat surface and I can hold my project with both hands. It fits nicely in my small hands or in my coat pocket. The charging cord is complete with everything you need to plug into the wall. The light does make some glare on a shiny project and my old eyes have some trouble with it.

The 500 lumen ultra-thin flex work light is AWESOME! It comes with everything you need which is the light and charging cable. It charged up in about 3 or 4 hours and has an indicator light so you know when it’s done. There is a nice grip to be hand held. The balance is very nice so that it is stable on it’s base. There is also a hook to hang the light and the magnet is super strong. There are 3 lighting options. The first is the light shines out the thin front. The other two and different setting of brightness from the main lighting piece. It is really bright. Great new tool, really excited about this.

Great light for any type of situation where you need a bright light to see your way for light up the work area. This light has very powerful 500 lumens with a magnetic base to position and hold your light so you can work hands-free it holds a charge up to 6 hours with a one-year limited warranty. It has a couple of illuminations medium and very bright with lights at the end of the flex head. The flex head folds against the body for easy storage and carrying. It appears the battery is sealed in the body permanently not to be taken out and replaced I cannot find any place where it can be popped out nor in the manual do I not see the replacement part. The manual indicates that a charge every 3 months to keep it optimize if not used every day. When charging there is an indicator light from red to green to let you know it is fully charged the flex head has a 180 degree motion to give you flexibility to put the light where you need it. As with most LED lights they are very bright one does not want to look directly at it because of how bright it is.,

Gear Wrench Ultra-Thin Rechargeable Work LightPros:Bright 500 lumens, rechargeable battery, comes with charger and cable, magnetic base, foldable, three light modes.Cons:None.The GearWrench Ultra-Think Flex-Head Rechargeable Work Light is an excellent addition to any workshop or household. Well made and sturdy with a very strong magnetic base, it is the perfect light source for just about any project. At 500 lumens, it is equivalent in lighting to a 40 watt bulb. The COB, chips on board, are extremely bright; and because they are part of the circuit board, they do not stick out like ordinary LED’s.Testing the unit, provided the following results: 2.5 hours duration time at maximum brightness of 500 lumens, 5.75 hours duration time at low brightness, 3.75 hours charging time from fully depleted battery. The charging indicator light changes from red to green when fully charged—very useful.Besides work applications, this light is also a great emergency light source in case of a power outage. One push button controls the light’s modes. The first push turn one a 30 lumen flashlight located at the tip of the folding arm. The second push turns off the flashlight and turns on the strip light at low brightness. The third push changes the strip light from medium to high brightness. The unit is ergonomically well designed and fits securely in the hand. The magnetic base is extremely strong allowing the unit to be attached to a metal surface in any position. There is a folding hook in the base that allows the unit to be hung. Made of durable plastic. One year warranty. Made in China.Recommended.

This little light puts off a ton of lumens! It worked great for a small project I was working on. I did not need a huge can light or stand up light, but something to just see better in the furnace room. Two clicks and I had more than enough to see better. What I did not know until I was storing it away in the garage was the bottom (near the battery compartment) is actually a magnet!
