A well marked quality set that includes mid-range sizes and extension bar and universal adapter.This is my first chrome moly set and I’m really pleased with the fit and performance of these sockets. I especially like the dual markings of both the white laser etched and the traditional stamped. Old habits die hard, so I always look for the stamped size… and there it is!The case is sturdy and does the job with a dual set of latches, which is well appreciated. Nothing worse than picking up a case with one latch loose and having your sockets fly all over. This won’t happen here.Extras include 2 extensions and a really handy impact rated universal socket to help get into tight places. Of course, both shallow and deep versions of the sockets are provided. The sizes from 5/16 to 3/4 (and companion 8mm to 19mm) are targeted to typical fasteners you encounter that you’d apply a 3/8 impact socket to. The extra metric sockets are appreciated for automotive applications. The SAE work fine for something like lag bolts.Aside from a native 3/8 driver, I find that for the smaller sockets, a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter (need to buy separately) comes in handy to use on a standard carpenter’s impact driver.Made in China

This Gearwrench 44-piece Impact socket set has SAE and Metric. It has standard and deep impact socket set has everything you need for 3/8 driver. One if the nice features is that has an off-corner loading design on box end to help have a better grip and reduced it rounding the fastener. The sockets are made from chrome molybdenum allow steel that give it better strength. It has a black phosphate coating to resist corrosion. Another nice feature is easy to read size identification, it has a laser-etched marking and it has a secondary hard stamp and size. It has a Lifetime Warranty.

the 3/8 inc drive deep impact socket set is really a heavy duty set! The sockets are thick and sturdy and should be able to remove any stubborn nut or lug nut. My son put it to use removing two tires from his 20 ft trailer and did not have a moments problem. The sockets are extremely well made! This is a welcome socket set added to my tool collection. Great product!

This is an outstanding set of impact sockets, I love the idea of having SAE and metric in the same set. The storage box design was a great idea. Not only do you have the standard latches on each side of the handle but you also have snap latches on both side, making sure the box stays closed. The only thing I would have liked to have seen included with this set would have been a 3/8 to ½ inch adapter since my impact wrench is a ½ drive. But besides that this is a very strong usable set of impact sockets for any mechanic.

I do automotive restoration as a hobby and I always encounter rusted nuts and bolts and just hard to get off so an impact wrench is in constant use these are some of the best impact sockets I have found they fit snug on the nuts and bolts so not to round them off and they are sturdy enough that they do not break I would recommend these to any one who needs to use impact sockets

I needed a very good impact socket set for my cordless impact driver. This is a great 44 piece set of regular and deep sockets in 3/8″ size. great for automotive or around the garage repair. They are made of a chromium black moly- steel that should last a lifetime. This contains a nice blow molded case for storage. The sockets are clearly marked with a laser etched visible marking.

GearWrench makes very nice wrench sets and this combination metric and SAE impact socket set in no exception. I have a few impact sockets that I picked up at one of those traveling tool shows that came to our lilttle town several years ago. They look OK, but I have no idea if they’d hold up under the load of an air-driven impact driver. These GearWrench impact sockets are made of chrome molybdenum for strength and durability, then they’re black oxide coated for corrosion resisitance. The size of every socket is clearly marked with high-visibility laser-etched markings. They come in a nicely designed blow-molded plastic case to keep them organized and easily accessible. The socket sizes are also molded into the case below the slot for each socket, so there’s never any confusion about which socket goes where.All the sockets in this set are for a 3/8-inch impact drive — the most commonly used size. The 44 pieces include both standard and deep impact sockets for SAE sizes 5/16 through 3/4 inch and metric sizes 8 through 19 mm. There’s also a 21 mm deep impact socket, 3-inch and 6-inch by 3/8 inch drive extensions, and a 3/8 by 3/8 inch drive universal adapter. This is a really nice addition to any tool set.
