GearWrench 85035 35-Piece Micro Driver Set includes Micro Drive GearWrench; square end 1/4 in. Adapter, 5-Piece 6 point metric socket set; 5-Piece 6 point standard socket set; 18-Piece 1/4 in. shank bits set (3 Slotted, 3 Philips, 6 Hex, 4 Torx, 2 Square); 5-Piece 5/16 in. Shank Bits set (2 Slotted, 1 Hex, 2 Torx). Set is made from all metal construction of the finest tool steel. Has a full polish chrome finish for long tool life. Screwdriver bits have internal bit feature which forces bit surface to the opposite side for maximum fastener retention. The 10-1/4 in. drive sockets; 5 metric, 5 SAE, have patented surface drive technology for socket strength and precision fit. 1/4 in. Micro Driver has 1/4 in. square end with ratcheting action and adapter. Flow molded carry case has a spot for each tool for safe storage and easy access.

Maybe mine is defective but a few of my bits (namely the 5/16s end) were *really* hard to insert and require a stab from the other end to remove. the 5/16s socket adapter specifically is near impossible to remove without another tool. As such, i can’t recommend this as a daily/frequently used tool but if you need to occasionally use this to build some furniture or whatever, the inconvenience of dislodging a seldom used bit is nowhere near the inconvenience of using those terrible Allen Keys they provide with stuff.

I am not sure if this is really out of the box thinking or Gearwrench’s “if the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail,” but this is one of my favorite tools. I have several sets and have given them as gifts often.The set includes nearly every driver you’ll need, though I have added a few extra drivers, metric hex, Posi-Driv, longer drives for recessed fasteners, etc. If you lose or wear one out, standard off-the-shelf driver bits fit.Great torque, speedy removal and insertion of fasteners. Press on the back for force to hold the bit in place for worn fastener heads, and thumb-wheels for speedy removal or starting threaded fasteners straight.For the price, I don’t even think you could buy the 35 different drivers and sockets individuallyI love this tool. If I could only have one screwdriver, this would be it. There’s not a day in the shop or at work where I don’t use it.

This is a great, compact set with Gearwrench’s quality behind it (tough steel components enabling slimmer dimensions that allow you to get in tighter situations). I love the versatility of the 1/4 drive handling bits of all types on the one side of rachet, (and included in the kit) and, with the adapter, the ability to use 1/4 drive sockets off the other end. Great product !
