The GEARWRENCH QUAD BOX RATCHETING WRENCH is four ratcheting, reversible, box wrenches all in one tool! 13/16, 7/8, 15/16 and 1 inch. Wow! Just those four sizes individually take up a lot of space in my tool drawer. And when you need one of them there’s a very good probability you’ll also need one of the other three sizes. Especially in tight places when changing starters and alternators on diesel bus and truck applications. The reversible ratcheting feature means all you have to do to change direction is to turn the lever. You don’t have to stop, remove the tool and turn it over. These features are additional pluses that speed up the job and make it considerably easier.

This Quad Box Ratcheting Wrench is a useful to keep in the car or in a handy place in the garage. What I like about this product is that it eliminates the need for traditional ratchet and socket combination. It has a reversible thumb lever to change direction of the 4 sizes in one wrench (3/16, 7/8, 15/16 and 1 in.). Manufacturer’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The GearWrench Quad Box Ratcheting Wrench is a serious, well designed tool that comes with a bonus. The bonus is that you get 4 sizes in one wrench, not the usual 2. The ratcheting parts are a bit thicker (wider?) than the usual style to safely and effectively accommodate both bolt/nut sizes. You can see the boundary in the middle of each ratchet where the two sizes meet. The design results in each of the ratchet’s sizes having about the same surface area contacting the nut or bolt as the single size per box end versions so you can still stand on this thing if you need to. It still fits in tight places and it still lets long bolts or studs protrude through the opening. It can be used where deep sockets can’t be. Each size is well identified and each size has its own directional flip control for convenience. I tried the GearWrench Quad Box Ratcheting wrench out tightening a nut on my brush hog. The fit was nice and secure and the wrench did the job. This wrench is well conceived and delivers the performance you expect. It has a lifetime warranty to boot. I think it’s going into the top tray of my toolbox.

The GearWrench quad box ratcheting wrench is four wrenches in one tool. It is well built and works great. I have 13/16 inch and 15/16 inch on one side and 1 inch and 7/8 inch on the other side. It has four separate gear cogs two each in each box end of the wrench. It’s a great combination tool to have handy in the tool box. I have other GearWrench tools and I’m happy with GearWrench wrenches in general. This combination wrench will come in handy in my everyday use.

Another great tool from Gearwrench. I have a whole set of ratcheting box-end wrenches from Gearwrench, covering all the basic SAE and metric sizes. This was a nice addition that I don’t use a lot. It’s nice to have when you need it. It covers 1″, 15/16″, 13/16″, and 7/8″. You can use it on spark plugs and larger size nuts and bolts. And it works really good with threaded rod.

I’m always looking for tools to add to my collection. When I saw this Gearwrench Quad Box Ratcheting Wrench, I thought this would be an excellent addition especially when working with long bolts that a socket might not be able to cover the whole bolt. This wrench has a ratcheting box wrench at each end and if you turn it over, it has a different size box wrench on each side. In other words, there are four different size box wrenches on the same tool. This particular wrench has the following sizes: 13/16”, 15/16”, 7/8”, and 1”. There is a direction control switch on both ends of the wrench and on the top and bottom (a total of four direction controls) so no matter what position the wrench is in, you should be able to switch directions. The tool feels very sturdy and the ratcheting device works very well. The total wrench length is about 11 ½ inches so you can get quite a bit of leverage when turning a nut. After trying out this wrench I would like to get the same tool in a variety of sizes. I would definitely recommend this wrench.

This ratcheting box wrench is good for applications that won’t allow even shallow sockets or when an open end wrench has to be turned too often. It is appropriately large and heave for a wrench with 13/16 to one inch openings. The fact that there are four is achieved by beveling the opening so there are two sizes on either side. This could be convenient if you don’t know the exact size of the nut you are addressing.

An ingenious design! Four ratcheting box wrenches in one. While it looks like a conventional 2-ended box wrench, the “socket” each end actually has a different dimension inside on each half. Orient it one way you can tighten a 7/8” nut, flip it over for a 13/16” nut. The other end handles 1” and 15/16”. Thus, you can get by with half the number of wrenches you would otherwise need.Ratcheting box wrenches are great tools for many applications, particularly nuts on long bolts, or for use in constrained spaces – this one uses 72 teeth in its mechanism to give 5 deg ratchet increments. So as long as you have more than 5 deg to rotate the wrench, you can tighten or loosen a nut in an awkward location. The quality seems good, with a solid feel and well-implemented ratchet-direction levers, with one on each side for convenience. The overall feel in using the wrench is positive and the nickel-chrome finish is good so it should have a long life.

This wrench is a great addition to my toolbox. My nephew is a mechanic at a car dealership. He spoke very highly about ratcheting box wrenches, so I recently picked up a set. I’ve got to say that they are great and very helpful at speeding things up. When I came across the Gearwrench Quad Box wrench, I knew I had to have it. The thing I like about it is that it gives me the 4 larger sizes that I don’t use that often. So rather than getting 4 separate wrenches, I only need this one. Good bargain.

This GearWrench QuadBox racheting wrench with reversible thumb lever is definitely a space saver. It’s like having four wrenches in one. The flush mounted reversing levers allow you to change direction without removing the wrench. This wrench is made of alloy steel for years and years of use. The chrome finish wipes clean and resists rust and corrosion. Approx 12 inches long. Sizes 7/8, 13/16, 15/16, and 1 inch. Don’t loan it. You may not get it back.
