Great ratcheting tool especially if space/weight is a concern. Four sizes is one wrench is quite unique and inventive. My observations after using the wrench:• Good weight distribution and balance when using.• 72 teeth on both ends with 12 points.• The reverse levers work well without sticking and stay locked. One on hand needed.• Off corner loading which greatly reduces the chances rounding a fastener.• The wrench is a good quality and mine has no defects.• The chrome polish is consistent and even.• Because of the design you just need to be careful when using the smaller side (22mm one side and 24mm on the other side) of the wrench. If you get careless it can slip into the 24mm when working on a 22mm. Obviously not an issue when working on the larger side. That does not mean it’s a bad design that is just how this wrench works. The space savings make up the difference of this small issue.Overall, I like these wrenches. I recommend.

This Wrench works quite well, I like that it has 4 sizes instead of having to take four separate wrenches with you. It is a little wide so not really good for tight spaces. There is a step in the middle of the “socket” end, so the smaller sizes on each end will not slide down over a tall nut or bolt, which is sometimes a good thing and sometimes bad. There are 72 teeth which means that it has about a 5 degree swing arc from one tooth to the next, which is pretty good, but a little tighter arc would be nice. The socket ends are fairly thin and do protrude from the sides of the wrench a little bit which is kind of nice for some things as it keeps your knuckles a little farther from your work. The wrench and socket parts seem to be of good quality and neither flex or bend The levers that control the direction work pretty smoothly and have a good balance between being flat enough not to interfere with taking off the nut or bolt and tall enough to be fairly easy to operate. It does have levers on both sides of the wrench. I am not really sure I care for the choices of sizes of the wrench as the 20mm and the 22mm are not common sizes. I would have liked to maybe have a 19mm and a 17mm instead but it is still a very nice wrench and if you combine it with other quadbox wrenches you could sure cut down on the amount of wrenches you have to drag under the car for basic tasks such as an oil change. The wrench is about 12″ long and about 7/8″ wide (at the ends) All in all a nice tool, that works well, now I just need to get some more sizes.

GEARWRENCH METRIC QUADBOX RATCHETING WRENCH. Its very convent to have a 4-in one tool like this. the ratcheting feature makes the job much easier. This is a great quality product, I have used this brand for awhile now and I must say they are very quality tools for the price. everything is machine made and very solid. This is a great way to save space in your tool box.

This tool is four boxed-end wrenches in one. It has two sizes of wrench on each end. This makes it a bit thicker than the simple boxed-end ratchet wrenches, and that can limit access into really tight spaces, but it is still much thinner than a regular ratchet wrench with a socket. It has switches on both sides of the head for reversing the direction of the ratchet action. It appears to be sturdy and it is well finished. This wrench will stay in the tool box that goes with my truck everywhere.

So far so good. It was bigger than I expected but it does have 4 sizes. 20,21, 22, 24mm. I love the ratchet capability and the size, although bigger than I expected, gives me more torque and power. I’m glad it can replace 4 other sizes. Since the heads are pretty big, the switch to reverse it is pretty big and easy to click as well. Some of the smaller wrenches make it harder to reverse it.

I’m impressed with this one. Pros and cons of course but overall it’s a great tool. It’s got a great weight and feel. Not too light. Not too heavy. It really feels great in my hand. The polished chrome is a great material. It wipes clean very easily. The thumb switches are easy to operate both directions. The one on the top is paired with the one on the bottom so they move together. The sizes are good. Good assortment of larger sizes. Sharp edges to the teeth that really bite well. I have no idea how far the ratchet turns to click. I can get a click with very little movement. It gives you a lot of room to play where others might need twice as much travel to advance to the next clickIf you’re using one of the smaller sizes, it’s easy to pass through the one you want and into the larger size above, For example, if I’m removing a 20 mm nut, It’s very easy for the wrench slide over the 20 MM and into the 21 mm. You have to hold it carefully so the teeth will remain engaged. Using one of the larger sizes doesn’t have that problem as the smaller side will work as a stop for the large size. It’s hard to explain but it’s definitely a conWith that exception, it’s a great tool that I’m happy to add to my tool box

Quality seems to be very strong. Mad easy task of attaching some bolts I have on the bottom of my roof top tent. Having 4 different size heads available made work even easier. I removed 1 star because I’m concerned about the strength of the ratchet and teeth. Specifically the teeth are small and rounded, plus there are 12 of them. While this makes it easier to get the wrench on the bolt it makes it VERY easy to round the bolt head if it slips. Do not use a wrench like this for loosening or tightening a very tight bolt or you will round its heads and be in a heap of trouble. It has a place in your tool box to get things cinched down, but use a 6 edged socket to really tighten it down.

I fell in love with ratchet box wrenches for the way they speed things up. Using my old box wrenches, I had to reseat the wrench after every turn – a real pain – especially when you can’t see the bolt your removing or installing. Gearwrench’s ratcheting box wrenches changes all that, like a socket – once it’s on the bolt it doesn’t come off till your done. I had all the SAE sizes and now I’m getting the metric sizes with no regrets.

When a conventional socket/ratchet combination will not fit, these wrenches are the best alternative. The QuadBox version has 4 different sizes on one tool, so you don’t need to have as many tools out to do the job. I’ve had Gearwrenches for over 30 years and even with extensive use, have never exp

The GEARWRENCH METRIC QUADBOX RATCHETING WRENCH is a Four-in-one flat 12 Point Box End ratchet wrench with 20 x 21 mm, and 22 x 24 mm sized ends makes this a versatile addition to a tool box. The markings on chrome finished handle allow for easy size identification. It is convenient for use on automotive bolts and nuts where tight spaces preclude using standard sockets and/or open-ended wrenches. The ratcheting feature also makes this a handy tool for general mechanical work and/or home repairs in very close spaces (e.g. near walls). My on reservation is with regards to durability and strength, given the origin of the manufacturer. However, the metal appears to be of good quality, and the convenience of the design make it a valued purchase.

This review is for the Apex Tool Group’s GearWrench Quadbox Ratcheting wrench, Model # 85214.Nothing feels better in your hand than a quality tool. I love the quality of craftsmanship and materials in making this tool. This is a heavy sturdy wrench that measures about 11 1/2 inches in length and the handle is about 1 inch in diameter. In one end of the wrench are 22mm/24mm and the other end has 20mm/21mm ratchet heads, Simply turn the wrench over to access either size. These are an ingenious tool. No more taking the box end off each time then reset it on the nut, this head just stays in place as the ratchet removes or tightens the nut/bolt. I am putting my box ends in the tool box and hanging these ratcheting wrenches on the peg board to quick access. They are just so much easier to use, I’m surprised they weren’t designed years and years ago. For the serious mechanics or the household garage tinkerer, this is a fantastic tool that I really recommend.
