The GearWrench 4-Piece Reversible Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set I have is Metric Only. I needed a dedicated metric set in a larger size. This box-end wrench features 72 teeth ratcheting teeth and wont slip off nut as most standard wrenches will. It has a 15° offset offers increased clearance which also saves your knuckles in tight spaces. Ratcheting box end increases provides lots of torque to increase productivity while reducing hand fatigue. Chrome polish finish for durability and corrosion resistance. . The box end utilizes Surface Drive technology which provides off-corner loading for better grip and reduced fastener rounding. Comes in a mountable corrosion proof storage rack.

Heavy Duty, well built, beautiful finish…finish is usually not something we look for when making a tool purchase but it does say a lot about the craftsmanship. The ratcheting box is exceptional, have used it on stuck nuts in tight space and worked flawlessly (no slips). Since you don’t have a selector for ratcheting, you do have to flip it over, but if you just grab the wrench without looking one of the edges of the grip is lightly serrated to help you identify orientation and may give you a little better grip when oily or greasy. You get a 21, 22, 24, and 25 mm and the rack is just a plus plus! You can continue adding swivel heads or just carry the rest of your wrenches to the work area without worry of loosing or dropping them. Lifetime warranty by the way! Nothing to gripe about on this one.

These are another set of Gearwrench wrenches to add to my mechanic’s tool collection. I wish I would of had these years ago to work on the cars and trucks that I have repaired. They are very well made and can really help accomplish the repairs more easily. I love the flex head and the ratcheting mechanism. You don’t usually find this ratcheting flex head in the larger metric sizes.

I added this set of flex-head ratcheting combination wrenches to my tool chest and so far I am very happy with them. I must say my need for the size of a metric wrench in this set is rather limited (21, 22, 24, and 25mm) but it is a good start point to expand my collection of this type of wrenches. The included storage case has an additional 12 slots for wrenches for a total of 16 wrenches. A few of the good and bad thoughts about this 4-piece wrench set – The wrenches seem to be of high-quality in both materials and design and have the very popular ratcheting flex-head feature. Each ratchet click is 5 degrees as compared to the standard of 30 degrees which is great in tight spaces. There is a tension adjustment for the flex-head by way of a Torx screw. For this set, the two largest wrenches use a T25 and the other two use a T15 (I don’t know what the other sizes of wrenches would use but presumable the Torx size decreases with the size of wrench). Another nice feature is the single serrated edge of the tool which gives a quick orientation of the wrench’s ratcheting direction (tighten or loosen) in the hand strictly by feel – very convenient when in tight quarters such as underneath the car lying on your back. Just feeling the serration lets you know which direction is tighten or loosen. However, the set that I received had one wrench where the serration was not very pronounced and was difficult to feel it – see pictures. These GearWrench branded tools come with a limited lifetime warranty – a definite positive. Recommended.

These are sturdy, well finished wrenches. They have a fine-toothed ratcheting mechanism which helps with working in tight places. They do not have a switch for reversing the ratcheting mechanism, but that is not an issue, since you can simply turn the wrench over to twist the nut or bolt in the opposite direction. The handle pivots at the head, which may be important to provide the clearance needed when you turn the wrench over to reverse the direction of the ratcheting mechanism. The wrench handle has a textured edge to help you know which direction the ratchet mechanism will work, but I find that I usually just twist the head of the wrench, it is just as quick and easy.

This is a solid choice if you are in the market for some good quality flex-head ratcheting wrenches. This is a 4 piece set which is a start. Most will need to consider a full set.My observations after using this set.• Good weight distribution and balance when using. I had good grip with or without gloves.• 72 teeth on both ends with 12 points.• Reverse is achieved by flipping the wrench. Arrows are actually printed on the wrenches.• The flex head gives 180 degrees of movement and make a huge difference in tight and awkward areas.• The wrenches are a good quality and mine had no defects whatsoever.• The chrome polish is consistent and even. • The wrenches are substantial in your hand and under torque they are have proven to be well made and can handle every day abuse.• The included case is sub-par. I’m not a fan of the plastic case/holder when I’m carry these by the handle. The case is also mountable which helps.Overall, I like this wrench set. Again you will likely need more than a 4 piece set although if this is the sizes you need or you need to replace some other wrenches in this size this is a good choice. I recommend.

These are very nice wrenches that work very well. They have a decent tooth count, 72 teeth for 360 degrees, so you don’t have to move them a lot to get from one tooth to the next. There is about 5 degrees between clicks, a few more teeth would have been nice. The ratcheting mechanism works quite smoothly and is not loose or wobbly in the housing. The open and box ends of the wrenches both fit well on the size bolts or nuts they were designed for. The box end of the wrenches have surface or flank drive so that they drive on the flats of the nuts or bolts so that there is less chance of rounding off the fastener. The flex part of the wrench feels tight and solid and does not flex or flop around. The handle is nicely shaped and does not hurt your fingers when you have to pull or push hard on it, it also has what they call “one touch assistant, which is a serration along one edge on the side of the wrench so that you can feel which direction the wrench is, it is good idea but the serrations are not big enough to be easily felt, so it is mostly of no use. The head flexes a full 180 degrees which is nice. You can also adjust the tension on the flex part of the wrench which I like, and it does have some spring tension on it via a “spring washer”. The storage rack is ok, the wrenches fit a little to tight for easy use in a tool box, but are ok for carrying around or hanging up. It is really nice that you can buy this add on set to increase the size of your existing wrench set without having to buy individual wrenches. The chrome finish is good and they look nice, but I still prefer a rougher finish for better grip. The wrench sizes are 21mm, 22mm, 24mm and 25mm. The wrenches are about 12″ to 13″ long, the open ends are about 3/8″ thick and the ratcheting ends are about 5/8″ thick. All in all a very nice set of wrenches that work very well.

It appears this company makes tools that appear more like ART than instruments that work hard.Beautifully chromed with a great holder to keep things sorted in a toolbox drawer or to hang on the wall. Plenty of extra slots to also hold more. Sizes in this set are 21mm, 22mm, 24mm, and 25mm.The swivel heads swing 180 degrees and can be adjusted with a hex bolt so they remain in place or to swing easily. There are also “arrow” indicators near the ratcheting head that shows the direction the wrench will tighten in. Great idea, but I feel they could be LARGER so they can be more easily seen by those of us who are seniors!

Just received my GearWrench 1/4 in. Drive 12-Point Deep Socket Set (10-Piece). Sizes range from 21mm to 25mm. Open end wrench on one side and a ratchet box style on the opposite side. Another neat feature is that the box end side has a pivot as you can see in the picture. This can help you in situations that are tight of difficult to get to. Great addition to your tool box. The wrenches have a nice chrome finish.

Got these for my husband, he is retired now and is constantly puttering around the house and working on the car. He is very pleased with the quality and heft to the wrenches, and the way they are easier to get into tight places. He also was impressed by the holder which was easy to mount on the wall in hiss workshop so it makes it very easy to keep the wrenches handy and organized
