Good so far. Got what I paid for, an inexpensive band saw. Worked right out of the box. Durability? time will tell. Came basically assembled. The 6 tpi blade that comes with saw makes rough cuts so had to buy 15 tpi separately (Olsen). Seems to be a good light duty saw. I was cutting 2×4’s.

Close to being adjusted out of the box. One drawback is the plastic brush inside for keeping drive wheel clean broke in half when I loosened the screw to adjust it. Part should be made better. A .20¢ part, maybe they should have used a .50¢ part. Made my own and all is ok now. Good bandsaw.

I wouldn’t try cutting anything over 1″ thick. Comes with thin blade. OK for small work.

It is a very good saw for the money

came assembled, just had to take it from the box it came in. used it for about 45 minutes initially and it performed wonderfully, making sharp straight detailed cuts in the wood I was preparing for my wife. Not a lot of noise or vibration. I did mount it on a small table that worked out great. I would recommend this product for hobbiest use as it does the job very well.

The only issue I ha e with it is the blade keeping popping off of the rollers. But maybe that is because I’m still on a learning curve of its use.

I have owned this table saw for several months now, using it very often to manufacture a wooden item I intend to market on the net. The saw has performed well with the oridgenal blade that came with it. I have cut wood, 2×4, for test purposes and the blade went through smothly but my use is for roughfing out a half inch slot by one inch long. This saw is a joy to use and have around for those odd items that need cutting and much easier to handle than gig or skill saws. I am an ex tool maker and aerospace Q. C. engineer so my judgements are based on professional experiences. The saw body is a casted construction, lightweight and easy to handle. The saw blade has not walked it’s way off of the wheels as some do, nor has it broken. It has a nice table guide which can be simply set in place for repetative sawing. The saw table is also casted with depressions (Groves) in the flat machined surface. This one feature presents problems when sawing narrow items as the groves tend to cause hang ups for smothe travel. NO BIG DEAL I got a piece of fibre board, cut it to cover the table top, used two small C clamps to hold it in place and I have a nice smothe table surface.I mounted the saw on an office 20″D by 25″L by “30H rolling cabinet. Added a one by six inch board on one end, mounted multiple electric outlet on that and an additional small flood light for convenience. I can push my work station out doors as well. I have included a picture, note my ear muffs hanging over the saw on the left. This saw is a fine choice for people in general at a reasonable price. It should last for years as long as the user does not over stress it’s designed purpose.

Not knowing much of band saw, but youtube gave great insight on how to set and fine tune my new band saw, general international band saw is great and more than expected when see and feel the fantastic work it does, great job.

my first project with this tool, a gauntlet! It worked perfectly…

Band saw did the job better than I was expecting it to do, I thought the 5.2 amp motor would not be enough power to do the job I bought it for, but it was enough . Setup was simple and it was easy to adjust the settings to fit the blade changing. The flexible lite was a good touch but was not enough by itself.

I had looked at many of the small band saws and needed something to trim wood and plastics before I cut shapes with templets with my table router. It had no reviews when I bought it but the price was good and I felt if it wasn’t what I need I would send it back. I couldn’t be happier with the saw. One of the biggest complaints I keep reading about was the plastic blade guides used on the other machines. I was very surprised to find this is all aluminum and offers all the adjustments I need and the flexible light is just a bonus… for the work I am doing, that is I am not looking for finish cuts, it is perfect.

I have had this saw for a few months. Used it numerous times. 6 tpiband works well for general cuts. Mounted it on a roller cabinet and added another light. The little one that comes with it, just is not enough for small cuts to see.

The saw itself is a nice tool. Just far too small for what I had in mind. Ordering online is not always a good idea.
