Make custom cuts with the General International 10 in. Sliding Miter Saw. This saw boasts dual slide rails for rigidity and precision cuts using the built in laser alignment system. This saw also has a no-load speed of 4,400 RPM, a comfortable horizontal D-Handle and can perform Bevel cuts up to 45° left.

It does the job, essay to set the angle that I need, also not that heavy, but it make a lot of noise, lazer is useless same as the dust collector, but the price is what make me like it, even without those fixtures.

I can’t comment on durability. Only had it a few weeks and I’m not a heavy saw user. However, I have used it a few times and it does the job it is supposed to and cost much less than most other 10″ Sliding Compound Miter saws. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is the owner’s manual that came with it. It was out of date. The laser guide is now battery operated. There is no mention of that in owners manual and frankly it wasn’t obvious to me what to do the get the laser working. There were a couple other “how to” things missing from the manual, too. The good news if you search for the owners manual you will find an up to date version to download with all the latest information and additional helpful information.Side note: I communicated via email with a gentleman in customer service at General International. He was with out a doubt the most helpful, responsive representative I have ever dealt with. From that experience alone I will consider future purchases from General International.
