While the tools did not meet the need I had, they did appear good quality and I am sure they will work for general leather or gasket punching.

The main reason I purchased the set was for the 3/4 size punch. The 3/4 size punch was only .730 so I had to hone it out to .750. The four bigger punches do not fit in my drill press because the shafts are larger that 1/2 inch so I had to file the 3/4 inch punch shaft down to work in my drill press. The punch has worked fine for my purpose after the initial disappointment and work I did on the punch to make in useful for me.

Have come down in quality since manufactory was moved off shore. Cutting edge taper no longer matches barrel size. Looks like it was ground by hand. Sure miss Armstrong tools. Guess that’s the best we get from now on.
