General Tools Pocket Size Rule and Gauge. Small size, easily fits into your pocket. Can be used as a protractor, 90 degree square and to find the center of a round piece of wood. There is no mechanical stop at common degrees so be careful to check angle before marking your wood. Can measure up to 4 3/4″ in length. Hashes for 1/64’s and mm. Made of stainless steel so it is corrosion resistant. Needs to be used on a flat surface, doesn’t allow you to use it on the convergence of two walls to get the angle (measuring for trim pieces).

Excellent addition to me tool set. This allows me to measure angles in either inside or outside corners. Additionally, it provides a great straight edge for those short lengths that you have to mark, on wood or paper. The material that this is made of is of high quality, I would expect this to last for a very long time as long as it is properly stored while not in use. Definitely recommend for all you handy-man tasks.

Handy little multi-purpose tool. A nice size for a pocket, especially for spot inspections. I would prefer a full 6 inch rule rather than only 4 3/4″. The inch graduations are in 64th which is fairly precise for most work. It works as an inch and metric rule, a square, a protractor, a center finder (which is what I really wanted), a circle divider AND a drill point gage which is essential for hole size control. Oh yeah, it is stainless steel so you won’t get rusty fingerprints showing up.

Very well built pocket rule. Very easy to set the angle and Mark what you need to cut. Compact enough to fit in your shirt pocket. Great when you need to measure something or need a specific angle to Mark. Made of metal so it should last a long time. Easy to read numbers against a silver background. I highly recommend this unit for the city guy or a professional.

Handy little pocket tool that has multiple functions. It’s not meant to replace full size tools that will probably do a better job but it combines quite a bit in a small compact tool. So far I’ve used it for gauging my drills while sharpening, locating centers on rods, and measuring lengths on varying items. I like that there are instructions and charts on the reverse side so I don’t have to go searching for them.

General Tools Pocket-Sized 6-in-1 Multi Use Rule and Gage is a small ruler and multi-gauge that weighs only an ounce. It is for machinist uses and for others primarily as an accurate ruler that has 64th inch gradations. It has other helpful aids like for those resharpening drill bits with a 59 degree quick check gauge. I resharpen my drill bits so this will come in handy. I found the small protractor helpful, too. It includes an angle guide, a center finder and circle layout measurement aids. On the reverse side are UNF and UF charts for tap size and drill bit sizes as well as handy illustration or reminder on how to use it all. The markings are all etched so won’t easily wear off. I’ve seen this tool around, it is well made, stainless steel, for those who want to keep a multi-tool close at hand. I’ll keep mine in a workbench draw to keep it safe.

I really love this GENERAL TOOLS POCKET-SIZED 6-IN-1 MULTI USE RULE AND GAGE! It is extremely well made, with deeply engraved markings and even directions inscribed right on the tool, giving you help while you’re using it! It is made with heavy gauge stainless steel, and very easy to use! There’s even a drill gauge on the back, telling you threads per inch, tap size and size of drill bit to use! I highly recommend this tool!

SMALL; THIN; LIGHTWEIGHT; USEFUL for MEASURING — The General Tools Pocket-Sized 6-in-1 Multi Use Rule and Gage is an ingenious tool that does several tasks. It performs as a square, protractor, ruler, and a drill point gauge. All of these features worked well. The feature that I liked the most and what I did not have a tool to do it was to find the center of a circle. See photo. That works though only for small circles. The protractor works better for specifying angles than for measuring them. I did not discover how to divide a circle into equal parts and could not find related information online or from the supplier. There are no instructions but the back side of the tool has illustrations to provide clues. That side also contains a table for tap and drill sizes. It is a handy tool made of stainless steel in India.
