I was surprised to see that Home Depot carried a punch like this. I had tried unsuccessfully to add 2 or 3 extra holes to 2 belts using an awl, so I’m very glad I found this useful tool. Not only is it useful for punching holes in leather, but also for Naugahyde and other materials like vinyl. The only disclaimer is that rotating the wheel to access a different size hole punch is a little tricky, as it has a stop that has to be disengaged to rotate the wheel.

I needed to add more holes to my leather belt and didn’t want to pay much for something that seemed to be a simple and quick undertaking. This could not have been easier to use and the holes came out clean and professional looking.

This works as it should. If you miss use it, the handles will fail. I know this because I bought this pair as a replacement.

I needed this to make a few more holes in an expensive leather belt due to my weight loss. This little tool did the trick and made smooth round holes in the belt. Perfect for what I needed.

In full disclosure, I bought this instead of one at the craft store because I don’t need pink handles to make me happy and it was 1/2 the price. VERY DIFFICULT to adjust punch head. I had to use a power screwdriver to loosen the screw. I did not use on metal or leather so I’m not sure how tough this actually is but for my craft project it pretty easily went through 4 layers of vinyl coated fabric with out killing my hands.

Well made tool at a very reasonable price. I am losing weight and love the fact that I can add a nice round hole in the belt instead of buying a new belt. This leather punch pays for itself.
