What a nice surprise. This comes with a ton of screws and even plugs for the pockets. The drill bit and square end driver bit are both nice and long, which is great if you’ve got deep pockets. The included screws- in various lengths- take the square bit or a Phillips bit, which is quite handy. The case is a really nice touch and helps you stay organized while also reminding you if somethings missing from the foam cutouts in the case for all the accessories. The yellow gauge on the jig adjusts based upon the size screw you want to use, which is great.

This worked pretty well for the most part. I just wish the drill bit that came with it was a little longer. The adjustable part to determine the depth of drill for the fastener length was pretty flimsy. I had to use 2 clamps on the tool to hold it to the work piece.

What a great product! I consider myself a fairly handy guy, but this pocket hole jig made me look like a skilled wood worker, which I am most certainly not. Pocket holes are a great way to connect pieces of wood invisibly …the screw is hidden in the pocket. Using this jig, you can make simple shelves, attach table tops …all sorts of things, without having the screws showing, which gives your project a professional and finished look. The amazing thing is that this jig is so easy to use, and the results are so great. I love this thing and am looking for projects on which to use it. Basically, you just clamp the jig to the wood, drill out the pocket, then install the screw (into the pilot hole that you’ve created when drilling out the pocket). It really couldn’t be any easier, and it’s actually a fun tool to use. Don’t forget to use a little wood glue for an even stronger joint.
