It’s a decent sander for the price, the variable speed and the movable handle are nice. I was disappointed to discover that the metal nose-piece has a “fake” hinge. At least one other sander I’d looked at online had a piece that looked the same as this, but theirs hinged up, to allow sanding inside tight curves. While the nose-piece on this sander appears to be able to do that, in reality, it’s fixed in position. — I would also have preferred a dust chute that one could mount a shop-vac type hose to. I knew this one didn’t have that when I’d ordered it, but I took that as a trade-off for what I thought was the hinged nose-piece 🙁 . This is replacing a 30-year old Black & Decker sander that finally stopped working. If this one lasts even half as long, I’ll be happy.

Received sander put to work immediately on hardwood floor machine preformed above expectations,my only complaint is the dust bag stitching came loose after one clean out,which I read in reviews before my purchase guess I was hoping mine might be different.think the manufacturer should replace
