I purchased this for light use. So far, I’ve only used it once, to cut up a pallet to burn in a chiminea. It cut through 1x and 2x pine with no problem, even using the 24T blade that came with it. I’ve not yet tried precision cutting where I needed to follow a line, nor have I used it with hardwood. Time will tell how it does there.

Excellent saw for the price. I like that most of the guard is metal and only the outer top section is heavy plastic. I’ll be using it mostly to cut aluminum decking. I did a wood project with it and it performed really well. Nice blade that it comes with it. Plenty of power. Exceeded my expectations by miles.

Its a great cheap saw to have in the workshop. Made my life a lot easier cutting down some sheet goods for a couple projects. The rip guide wasn’t very accurate, so I used a straight piece of MDF and 2 clamps instead.

Owned about a month now, used twice for 2 x 4s and 1 x 3s. Lightweight and cuts smoothly. Compared to the one I replaced from another manufacturer, it’s does the job. Will update in 6 months or so if rating changes.

This being my first circular saw, it has not been a disappointment. Truly, what a great piece of machinery. Though I cannot compare this circular saw against any other tool-makers, I can say that for my level of woodworking (beginner to intermediate), this saw has met every need of mine. It is solidly built, and all functions perform as expected. In two weeks it helped me build gate for my fence and a couple of saw horses without any problems or issues. I also bought an orbital sander from the same brand and it, too, has performed flawlessly. I am very pleased with this company thus far.
