The difference drill press isn’t the big issue. It wants to jump teeth in the rack and pinion for table height. Genesis has sent the wrong parts twice now. Onie more try and if it doesn’t work back it goes to Home Depot.

This drill was not too hard to put together. It is definitely the cheaper end of the spectrum. When drilling, the action is not exceptionally smooth. The drill bit wanders before biting into the material. You have to aim about 1/16″ to the left of where the hole needs to be drilled on order to hit your target. It is fine if you are not looking for precision.
