The Genesis GLCD2038A 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Drill Driver has a compact design with a high performance motor that delivers 350 in. lbs. of torque power. The high- strength transmission delivers 2 speeds for incredible power and speed. The ergonomic handle has rubber inserts and provides comfort and stable tool control. The drill driver includes a built-in LED work light, an on-board battery power indicator and an electric brake. The tool weighs 2.5 lbs. and includes a 20-Volt compact lithium-ion battery pack, a compact charger and double-ended screwdriver bit.

This is a good 3/8 drill for general home use. It has many features that are found on the higher end drills, such as two speeds, 0-350 and 0-1300. It also has 22 different clutch/torque settings that come in handy when a high or low torque setting is needed. It also has a ergonomically designed handle that helps reduce fatigue with long usage. The key-less chuck comes in handy for quick changes of your bit and you never have to worry about losing a key.

No more fighting my husband over the drill, which was a real pain when remodeling houses! This drill on top of it is a bit smaller than my husband’s monster drill, and also a little lighter, which is great in my lady’s hand! At the same time, there is no lack of power that goes with the somewhat smaller size, I can drill through metal, wood, and drywall as easy as the monster drill. Once the batteries were drained, it took only 3 hours to recharge it and I was ready to go again. I really love this drill!

I was very impressed with this drill. It is light weight and powerful. I was able to drive a 3 inch screw all the way into a 2 x 4 with one pass. Brakes immediately. Has a built-in work light and battery usage indicator. Also has 2 speeds for drilling and driving and a variable chuck. This drill is ideal for extended overhead work. Your arm will not get tired. Comes with a charger and 20 volt Li-Ion battery. This battery is easily 1/3 the weight of my other cordless drill which uses a 18 volt Ni-Cd battery

Cordless drills have come a long way in the last twenty-five years. We have a six volt cordless drill whose battery alone weighs about as much as this 20 volt drill with battery attached. The Genesis GLCD2038A 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Drill Driver is compact, light weight, easy to handle and powerful. It has two speeds which is a definite plus because too much speed and power in certain applications can cause problems..ie..rounding out screw heads made of softer metal. This sweet little drill feels just right in my hand and has a built in light that shines right on the fastener. Great product!!.

After charging, this drill is ready to go at a minutes notice, It is lightweight, compact, well-made and powerful. This brand was new to me but I have been impressed so far. The drill charged extremely fast and has held it’s charge. I like the design of the drill and how it feels in my hand, it is very lightweight, well balanced and easy to use. The grip has a rubberized non slip pistol grip fitting nicely in my hand making it female friendly. The trigger is easy to reach and use. Built in LED light illuminates the work area. On board battery power indicator right above the trigger, never wonder if you have enough power to finish the job. Great Drill for those quick jobs around the house.

Was very surprised buy this drill did not think would be as good as it is. Is small in size and is more powerful than I expected, got if for just the little jobs, around the house and for use by other household members so they stay out of my tools, but big surprise is way better than expected. Has a work light, Battery power indicator, variable speed trigger, has a high and low speed range switch (used low speed for the auger bit and worked great). Charger took about 2 hours to charge the new 20 volt battery (had some charge out of the box). Checked out reviews on the 18 volt older model and looked pretty good so what the heck wanted to give it a try, was a good choice now that I have tried it. Tried with a 10×3.5″ screw with out drilling a starter hole and went if very easy and quickly. Think Genesis has a winner on its hands

I had an old black and decker 9.6 volt drill I had been using around the house and it was no longer cutting it for my daily projects. I picked this up hoping increased power would be able to make my projects a little easier, and boy was I happy I did. This drill blew my expectations out of the water. It has a small very compact frame which makes it comfortable in the hand and easy to use in tight spaces, but extremely durable. The settings are easy to use and the drill is extremely powerful. It worked just as good drilling a hole in wood as it did using a mixer attachment to mix up some grout. The light on the front is perfect for drilling in corner spaces so you can see the screws and it was an extremely smart design to add a battery life indicator on the handle so you know when your close to needing a recharge. If your looking for a new drill, take my advice, you found it.

I have wanted a cordless of a long time. I found this one to have a good price. It also has plenty of power. The two speeds in nice. It feels good to use. A nice thing is a two year warrantee. That makes me feel they trust their product. It does take 3 to 5 hour to charge. I don’t know how long of a continues running time it has. For me I don’t use it continuously so it does the job for me. Sure nice not needing to get a cord out to do jobs.

I have never seen a battery charger so compact. I love it. It is also the first-time I have had a battery indicator on the drill. It is easy to determine battery level by green, yellow, and red lights. The double ended screwdriver bit is a nice extra. Makes you think they really think about what their customers want, quality and customer service. The handle is very comfortable. I enjoy drilling and driving screws with this drill. It has good torque – max is 350 in/lbs. It is light. It is easy to get in tight places. The 3/8 in. single-sleeve keyless chuck rotates easily so that it is easy to get bits securely installed. There are 21 + 1 torque/clutch settings. I had a little trouble with the two-speed switch. I thought it would be easier to push. The battery charger charges the battery in less than 3 hours.

The only thing is that all I needed was a charger. A year ago I bought the double driil pac. Charger would not work any more. But come to find out I couldnot just get charger. So had to spend money that I didn’t need to spend.
