Looking for a great battery operated screwdriver? The GENESIS 8-VOLT LITHIUM-ION CORDLESS QUICK-CHANGE 2-SPEED SCREWDRIVER WITH LED WORK LIGHT, BATTERY PACK, CHARGER AND 8 BITS is a nice starter set. For home use this little screwdriver is perfect. Its small size makes it very convenient for me to hold in my smaller hand! The battery charged in about 4 hours, but the length of usage will depend if it used at 200 rpm or 400 rpm. It has two speeds! I also like the Hex Chuck, it makes it easy to change bits. You also get 16 settings for torque changes, making drilling more efficient. I get a lot of versatility with this little screwdriver.

This Genesis 8-volt battery powered drill is a great little drill. My wife bought me a small drill years ago which I have been using anytime I need to do a light weight project around the house. This new Genesis drill is going to be replacing it since it is finally on its last legs and will barely take a charge. This drill comes with a 1/4″ hex quick change chuck for easy swapping of drill bits or screw driver tips. It has 16 different torque/clutch settings plus a setting for drilling or screwing so that the clutch does not engage. It has a nice and bright built in LED work light that comes on anytime the trigger is pulled. It has two speed settings of 200 & 400 rpm’s so you can pick what speed you need for each job. The removable 8-volt lithium-ion battery can hold its charge for up to 18 months so if you leave it on the shelf for a while it will still be good to go when you use it again.I will be using this drill mostly for light weight projects around the house. It is a great little drill but it won’t be replacing my impact drill I use most of the time. This drill will be great for those times when you need a smaller drill to reach up into tight areas where a larger drill just can’t get into. I really like the fact that this drill has a removable battery so that when this battery finally no longer takes a charge you can just replace it and you don’t have to throw away the drill. My current small drill has a built in battery and it will barely take a charge anymore so this one is perfect in that aspect. The one slight negative with this drill is that the battery pops out almost every time you set it down. It doesn’t matter which side you set it down on it will pop out. It seems to be a design flaw the engineers somehow missed when designing it. The battery does NOT fall out when you’re using the drill. You can shake it and smack it all you want and it won’t fall out while it’s in your hand. It’s only when you set it down that the battery pops out. If you set it down very gently it won’t pop out but to be honest I forget most of the time so I’m continuously having to pop it back in. Because of this I can’t fully rate this drill at 5 stars. If it didn’t have this flaw it would receive a full 5 star rating. Other then the battery popping out this drill works really well. Has plenty of torque for driving screws or drilling smaller holes when needed. I look forward to using this drill for years to come and it’s great to finally replace my old drill that will barely take a charge.

This Genesis portable drill is perfect for the homeowners collection or for the Professionals. It’s very compact and lightweight and comes with the battery pack and charger as well as a small set of drill attachments. Speeds are adjustable and the small but powerful size make it easy to get into those hard to reach spots. I also like the bright green trim which makes it easy to find after putting it down. Definitely recommend this drill for size, price and convenience .

The GENESIS 8-VOLT LITHIUM-ION CORDLESS QUICK-CHANGE 2-SPEED SCREWDRIVER WITH LED WORK LIGHT, BATTERY PACK, CHARGER AND 8 BITS is a great package. i just received it and put it to use unscrewing a project I was doing. I had plenty of power and it lasted more than 8 hours with plenty of power left. I was impressed with this small screwdriver. I like its2 speed ability and the quick changing ability of its bits. It can also be used as a drill for smaller projects. I like it and would recommend it to anyone.

This Genesis 8-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Quick-Change 2-Speed Screwdriver with LED Work Light, Battery Pack, Charger and 8 Bits is a nice addition to my woodworking shop. For such a small screwdriver it packs a lot of power. It has two speeds and 16 Torque settings. I really like the quick-change chuck feature. You just have to pull back the bit collar and insert a bit and release the collar to lock the bit in and to remove the bit just pull the collar back and remove pull the bit out. The battery is very easy to remove for charging. In fact it removes too easy. If you lay it down just a tad to hard it will slip out just enough so there is no power. That is why only four stars but that is just a minor in convenience. The 8 bits that come with it are a nice extra.

This Genesis cordless screwdriver is a welcomed addition to my toolbox. I have other battery operated drills and impact wrenches, but they are often too powerful for many jobs. Recently, I was painting bi-fold closet doors and wanted to remove the hinges, the Genesis handled the job with ease. Plenty of power and light weight made it ideally suited. Another project I had was replacing light switches. I always disliked screwing in those 1 inch, finely threaded mounting screws, it seems to take for ever. The Genesis made it quick and easy. I like to low rpm (200 & 400) of the Genesis it gives you time to see the screw goes in properly. I’m not getting rid of my other drills & drivers, but the Genesis is definitely a keeper.

The Genesis 8-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Quick-Change 2-Speed Screwdriver is a light weight screwdriver/drill good for light duty use. There was not enough power to drive a wood screw into a wall stud, or snug down mounting screws. I had to get the power tools out to finish the job. It worked well for screwing/unscrewing electrical cover plates. I tried drilling a few pilot holes and it did the job, but it was a bit slow. A big annoyance while using this screwdriver was the Lithium-Ion battery pack kept popping out of the handle. This screwdriver came with a battery charger and 8 bits for screwing and drilling. I probably won’t use this cordless screwdriver much, except for long threaded screws.

This is a great light duty drill for crafts or small jobs around the house. It’s very compact and super light. The battery does pop out just a bit if you bump it or lay it down hard which cost this a star.

My wife wanted a small drill to do some of her crafting projects. My Dewalt drill was heavy and cumbersome for her. I liked this product because it was light weight and easy to use. The quick change chuck makes it easy to install and change bits. The variable settings allow her to control the torque she needs for each project. She also likes the ability to change the rpm setting. Another plus is the LED light for focusing on the task at hand. The charger is quick and efficient.
