Genesis 15 Amp 10 in. Compound Miter Saw is a powerful, heavy duty machine for all your repetitive wood cutting needs. Straight crosscuts, miter cuts, bevel cuts and compound cuts are a breeze, whether you are cutting flooring, molding, a woodworking project or you just need to cut dimensional lumber down to size. A heavy duty 15 Amp motor drives the blade at 4600 RPM for fast, smooth cutting. Laser light cutting guide allows for quicker set up and improved accuracy and a spindle lock makes for quick blade changes. Updated saw has improved components, with increased stability in legs and tool platform, with easily adjustable knobs.

Powerful decent saw with nicer fine blade. I was surprised that it didn’t have a positive stop for 30 degrees but one for 31.25 or something degrees. I can’t figure out why they can’t make a laser guide saw that used the 120v AC instead of batteries and turns the laser on when plugged in and turns it off when you unplug it or haven’t used it recently.

Everything works well with the one exception being that the fence is a little short. The maximum crown moulding width that this saw fence will handle is 3 5/8″. I am working with 4 1/2″ so I will need to do a little improvising.

I don’t know who put the dirty thumb print on the handle and debris on in the saw. But when you pay over $100.00 you want a new saw. Far as the saw it works great. Would recommend to buy.

I think this is not a contractor-grade heavy-duty saw. I use it to cut frames for painting canvases (not picture frames, but the support for canvas or hardboard). The 45-deg cuts are accurate, the laser helps judge the kerf, and the saw handles the small sticks well.
