This is replacing a palm sander that was years and years old. Saw this one a decided for the price I could not go wrong. It is perfect for the craft and small projects I am always tackling. I like the way the sand paper goes in place. Just pressing down the lever is a good thing. Nice design. If does have a dust collector which helps with small jobs and none or not much clean up. The 3 different grits of paper was a plus. I don’t have big hands but have no problem gripping it. Seems well worth the price and I would recommend if you are a do it yourself sort of person. If you do any sort of projects at all it is always good to have a palm sander on hand.

Some thought went into the design and packaging of this palm sander. This one-quarter sheet palm sander even came with three grades of sand paper (see picture), so you can try it out to see how well it works with each grade of sandpaper. Very thoughtful! As to the design, I like the dust-protected switch (see picture). Even though it does have a dust collection bag, it is good to have this extra protection on the switch. I also liked the very easy-to-use spring-loaded sandpaper clamps on each side of the sander (see picture). Unlike other sanders I have used, this requires no tools. Just press down on the lever and insert the sandpaper. It works very well, and I highly recommend it!

As a women refinishing antiques and other projects, this sander is just right for my hand. It is easy for me to maneuver and has a bag for catching dust so clean up is trouble-free. The ON/OFF switch is covered so very little dust should clog the workings and it came with 3 different grade sandpapers. The directions for loading the sandpaper and other needed information was provided and the instructions are easy to follow. It does not rotate quite as fast as others I looked at, but it is fine for the work I do in my home. Would I purchase again ….. yes!

This sander has a lot of convenient features. I like the dust collection bag, it is the first sander I have used with the dust bag and it really does help keep your work area clean. The spring loaded paper clamps make changing the sand paper quick and easy. I would say this sander is better for finish sanding to achieve a smooth surface rather than removing paint or deep gouges.

This little sander would be perfect if it weren’t for how difficult it is to change out the sandpaper sheets. Its quiet, runs smooth, and has minimal mess when the little bag is attached. BUT, i absolutely hate how the sandpaper gets attached. I curse it every time!!

This brand is new to me, and I’m impressed. The sander is nicely crafted with a sturdy rubber base, dust protected on/off switch, spring-loaded sand paper grips and a dust collector bag. Also included is a plastic perforation plate used to punch holes in the sandpaper to facilitate dust collection. I placed my hand at the opening where the collection bag attaches and there was a good stream of air. I’m surprised at how quiet this unit is. I’ve used another palm sander that is extremely loud. The sander fits nicely back into its box, too.

The 1.3 Amp 1/4 sheet palm sander comes with one sheet of 80, 100 and 120 grit of sandpaper samples to try out with a paper punch plate. Along with a dust bag that I find to be not so accurate in keeping the dust in without leaving a trail of powdered dust. The sander works awesome but I do find the palm sander to be a bit bulky. Otherwise this palm sander fits well into my palm and goes the distance. I manage to sand my door and a small table top. I like the paper clamp tabs, it makes it so easy and fast to put the sand paper in. Also, the on/off switch button is protected by a clear cover to keep out the dust from being collecting.

I have found this to be a great quality palm sander. From the moment you take it out of the box, you know that it is built for professional use. The switch has a soft plastic dust cover over it to protect it from dust that inevitably gets in on other sanders. It has a good dust collection system with a removable bag. The dust is collected through holes on the sandpaper. Three sheets come with the sander that have the holes already in place, but you can easily use any sandpaper with its handy hole punch tool. Sandpaper is put on the unit the same way as most palm sanders with a clamp on either side. The clamps have a rubber base on them, which holds the sandpaper firmly in place. Turning on the sander, you will immediately notice how quiet it is. This is a real plus. Also, the vibration on your hand is minimal. While it is a single speed sander, it does a very effective job of sanding your stock smooth.

It’s ok. The pad did break away from the main frame of the sander. It’s still useable but crooked from what it was originally. It sands well. Also, replacing sandpaper can be a bit tricky. Some sandpaper, including that I bought at Home Depot, is just a tiny bit short…it still works but it’s harder to install a new sheet. The stuff I got at a large well know box-store, was just a tiny bit longer and worked better.

Good basic sander for the price. Half the price of the major brands and so far as performed well. Replaced an old major brand which has given many years of service but slowly has fallen apart. A little underpowered as compared to my older one but so far adequate for smaller jobs. I am not a professional woodworker and use my palm sander maybe once or twice a year so I am sure it will hold up.Comfortable grip and like the oversized paper clamps which are a big improvement over what I was using.Good basic sander at a value price.
