I bought this for a new system build. It works fine. However, you might need an adapter for one of the connectors. I paired this with an MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX, which requires two sets of plugs–the main one for the mobo and a special 8-pin for the CPU itself. Because this PSU lacks the connectors for the CPU, I had to purchase a 14 molex 4-Pin to P4 8-Pin power adapter (see picture). They run pretty cheap, but just be aware that depending on your mobo you might have to purchase one.
