Based on the Ampere architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of 1440p gaming at high frame rates, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 VISION OC Graphics Card brings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. The GPU features 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 256-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Turing-based generation.
The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K at 60fps, 4K at 120fps, and even up to 10K. The RTX 3070 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU’s 5888 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA and other APIs.
For cooling, Gigabyte implemented the WINDFORCE 3X cooling system. The cooling system uses three 80mm fans. The airflow is split by the triangle fan edge and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface. The 3D Active Fan feature provides semi-passive cooling, which means the fans will remain off when the GPU is under a set loading or temperature for low power gaming. You can also adjust lighting effects via RGB FUSION 2.0 software.

Gigabyte is great. I bought this card for my wife, which was an upgrade from her 1070 SC. She has a 1440p monitor, and was struggling to play games at high/ultra settings on her 1070. But with this 3070, it flies through any game and setting. Amazing card, and looks great too.

I was lucky enough to purchase this card and all I can say is that it’s great! The thermals are really good, the fans are quiet, and the performance is stellar. There are two minor things that I dislike though: the card comes only in white (sticks out like a sore thumb in my system but hey it’s 1000% better than nothing), and the fact that the power limit on the card is locked at 100% so it cannot be overclocked by increasing the power limit. I was not considering overclocking it but I’d like to have the option. Bonus gripe: The Gigabyte RGB software is horrendous. I wish they would add compatibility with iCue or Dragon Center. But aside from these minor issues, the card’s performance is great and if you get an opportunity to get one, don’t hesitate. This card is also more manageable in terms of size compared to cards from other manufacturers. Buying from B&H is also always a plus. So far my experience with them has been absolutely great!
