   The reason behind wobbling of this platform is if you attach it with smaller plate , you need a bigger size plate and you will see the difference

   Great for tethered shooting inside and outdoors. Couple this with a tripod arm and you’ll love the convenience of have your laptop next to your camera when mounted on a tripod.

   I was expecting it to have some kind of surface that would hold a laptop computer in place, but it’s just a flat piece of smooth metal which lets the laptop slide around freely. There is a lip around the edge to keep it from going off, but it’s hard to put much faith in it. And it requires you to remove the laptop if you want to safely move the whole stand. I’ll either return it or look for a pad and strap to make the platform what I really need it to be.

   I had a Gitzo tripod from several years ago, and I wanted to use it to improve my Work from Home set up during the COVID 19 lockdowns. This provides a great option that is easy to move around…great for Zoom calls using iPads or Laptops. Super stable, I have my MacBook Pro 16 inch on it all the time; fits perfectly.
