The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

Causes problems with getting devices added to network. Have to enter static address to get it to work. I have DHCP enabled but doesn’t seem to work well.

Great wi fi all around no wires just an expansion like you would not believe.

Although the hubs and router have not been moved and no other items in the house have been moved it doesn’t maintain the same level of connection at each hub without explanation. One day the office hub is poor connection to the base and other days it’s great.

The mesh network is very good when it comes to full coverage where ever you are in the house. The only major issue that ive run into thus far would be if i need to reset an individual access point for one reason or another. The access point that I reset decides it doesnt want to to connect to the rest of the network and then i end up having to reset both access points as well as the router, definitely not idea. Other than that one gripe, the nest mesh network is great and i highly recomend it.

Enjoyed the mesh functionality but one of the mesh points continues to lose signal causing me to constantly reset it. This third point is only 15 feet away from the 2nd point. Would have also liked to have a second WLAN input/output on the original router to broadcast to a gaming device.

Starting with the positives – extremely easy set up (QR codes are genius) and mesh enablement. When operating at peak, the speeds are fantastic – we had three kids doing video school from home, streaming TV, and a home office all operating simultaneously with very few issues.Negatives – the network goes down inexplicably far too often. I will have to reset and restart at least 4 or 5 times a month. Many times the network will be down when it shows functioning. I have replaced the router three times, and this issue continues to persist.Overall – much better than what we had before, incredible speed and ease of set up, but issues with network outages, inability to diagnose and impact to productivity have been limiting.

It’s great … looks good (minimal and clean) and gives me 100% coverage everywhere at top speeds.

Moved to this router from a different brand. It seems to be holding signal better and not losing connection like the last one. Our internet seems to be as quick if not quicker than before. Good product

I got the Google nest and im so glad I did. My wifi service is horrible and I pay for high speed. My wifi doesn’t reach to the one side of my house. Having the Google nest in the same room as my wifi router, I get wifi in my whole house and its awesome. I even connected my security cameras to the Google nest and I have no connection issues with them. My regular wifi wasn’t doing the job. This is definitely worth it if you rely on wifi for certain devices.

I’m very happy with the easy setup and good WiFi coverage. The controls available in the Home app are quite helpful. We don’t have the signal drops we had with our old wireless router and it is easy to manage the network. However, using my house’s Ethernet wiring is a little inconvenient with only one connection available. I like having wired connections available for security with some uses. Also, one TV is in an area on the fringes of my single Nest WiFi. I will probably use a dumb switch to work this out. However, all in all, the Nest WiFi was a good solution for us.

Finally found a “mesh” system that sets up and works flawlessly. Wife and I work from home full time and basement dwelling gamer in full effect still doesn’t slow it down. Should have gone this route earlier.

This is my second mesh system- I have the original one at my house (base unit and 3 points) and the other (latest) in a second home/cabin. I just set up the cabin – 2500 ft2, and I used the base and 1 point. Big improvement over the standard Spectrum wifi unit. High performance there is needed because we use the spectrum streaming app on multiple TVs with no cable box, and also cell service is sketchy there so we need good strong wifi to use the wifi calling/texting while in airplane mode on the phones, iPads, laptops etc. Very fast and simple setup- most of the time spent was waiting for the spectrum router to reset to accept the new wifi system, and the setup app even uses a timer to make sure ample time in allotted. Another plus is the sound quality on the new mesh point- better than a nest mini, and it also acts like a google assistant in terms of answering questions and doing anything the mini does. Very good value for the whole setup, and I highly recommend the mesh system.

These nest wifi are awesome. Spread coverage around home. They act as speakers, news, alarms, etc all in one.

I didn’t realize how terrible my old router was until I bought the new nest set and was getting blazing fast speeds. Literally 3x what they were with my Belkin router!

I bought the 3 pack Nest Wi-Fi to solve a connectivity problem in my long house. It worked! I now have a very strong signal throughout my property with no dead spaces. I have just started to use the google assistant in different ways and I am considering automating a few more things in my home. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

Started off pretty good for about a week. I have had to reset the point a few times because it stops working.

I had a friend who works with technology install this router for me. I have had troubles getting good wifi coverage on my back porch. After this was installed I have had no troubles getting wifi on the back porch. The speed is about the same as before, but I don’t really care about that as it was sufficient before. However, this did serve the purpose I needed it to.

I purchased an extra unit just to make sure that I had sufficient coverage. Didn’t need the third one as 2 more than covered my 24 sqft house. Teamed with my new Starlink, I have awesome coverage all over the house and in the yard!

The Nest WiFi was easy to set up and is easily managed from the Google Home app. The WiFi coverage is strong throughout our home. The units (I have a hub point) are easy to hide or make inconspicuous. This is a great product that works as advertised.
