The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

I am the least technical person on the planet. But Nest was a breeze to set up and has worked flawlessly since we installed it. Highly recommend for ease of use and full house coverage. Happy to say we no longer have dead spots upstairs or in the basement.

Excellent replacement to our Orbi– using 2 points and gets the WiFi from our house to a separate studio and a dock. Very satisfied. I didn’t think I would like the speaker option, but it turns out to have a great sound so is an added plus. Going to buy one more point to complete our set-up.

After looking at various reviews of the the Nest Wifi Router, I immediately jumped at the chance to see if it worked in my situation. I have about a 1200 ft place that needs wifi coverage throughout the house, with everything from the wifi cameras and door bell that all needs to be connected via internet. I was looking for something that had a strong signal and something that I could rely on. The stuff your ISP provides is OK, but this just makes it better. The set up is super duper easy through the Home app and you can easily add a point at a future date if you really need it. The look is very unobtrusive.

It is straightforward to set up wifi with this device. However, recently, it started to degrade or drop connection considerably. It is very frustrating sometimes. They also removed the great old app and instead added it to the Google Home app, which looks pretty cluttered now.

the google nest is an excellent router. the size and style are very convenient as far as a decor. the signal seems to be stronger. did not do a speed test but devices seem to be processing faster. looking forward to purchasing more like it

Works initially upon setup and then slowly fades away. Multiple reboots and rearranging satellites to keep “good” signal. I would not recommend and this product needs more work or a firmware update to fix the issue. I would not recommend for a large home with multiple levels. The range is significantly reduced with a hollow core door closed in a bedroom

Upgraded from Onhub using same SSID and password so that some 40 devices reconnected automatically with no problems. The only thing unexpected was that the existing access points had to be manually reset before adding to the system via Google Home and my existing Onhub router was not compatible with Google Nest and therefore could not be used as an extra access point as I had originally planned. Oh well.As long as I can say “Hey Google: I got to go!” And it will turn on the space heater and the light in my outdoor head for 30 minutes on a timer then by the time I get out there I am happy, especially on cold nights.

Could not be more pleased. I have the router and three points. It was a breeze to set up and has provided seamless blanket coverage for my entire house. Very impressed by how strong the signal is and the effortless handoff between points as I move around the house. Highly recommend. Never a need to go back to WiFi extenders ever again.

Nest WiFi works really well sometimes and sometimes it barely works at all. We are constantly rearranging our “pucks” and rebooting trying to get better service. No one knows why it only works sometimes

There is a major difference between internet extenders and a mesh system in a multi floor house. Before I bought the nest, I took a speed test in all important rooms. After nest, higher speeds, better performance in prior bad spots, no more buffering. Huge fan.

I’ve been looking to replace my old “fruit company” home router for a while but was concerned that I would find some costly, complicated, or poorly built solution. After a few weeks with Nest Wifi, I can easily say it is the best router, mesh solution available. Easy to set up with Google Home, fast speeds for the entire household, and it didn’t break the bank either.

System seamed to work properly at first but I added an additional point so I have three points and the wifi router, it seems that I have to reboot the wifi router every morning to get it to have any kind of speed…? I am looking to replace the system with a more robust system that can handle my apparent challenging layout.

The nest wifi router has helped us with the internet connection issues we’ve been having in the rooms that’s towards the end of the house. Now we have connection in all the rooms. The set up was very easy too. It comes with a power adapter and an Ethernet cable. The google home app would need to be downloaded for the setup but it is a fairly simple process.

Nest wifi provides excellent coverage throughout my 3-level home, including a basement with solid concrete walls. May devices connected including exterior security cams.

This mesh took sometime to get going but once it detected the signal everything else was breeze. It enhanced the signal reach as well as strength. Another positive is it will merge your regular and 5g signals and with AI use whichever is appropriate, very nice for smart devices like smart lights that need specific strength of signal during setup. Also the mesh acts like speakers which you can group to hear same music at every level of your house. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Was easy to set up and has worked well. Only problem was Google Assistant got logged out and had some trouble getting it logged in with Google app.

I needed to replace a 3 router/3 network setup that the Geek Squad installed a few years back. What a pain having multiple networks is. I bought a 4 point system (1 router
