The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

Ok so we are a few months in and beyond frustrated and don’t know what to do. I can verify that the nest itself has a great connection with 250 download speed but everything that is connected to it has super slow download speed. It’s beyond frustrating. In fact our apple tv is literally 24 inches away from the router is slow.

We just moved into a new home that is a 4 level split. I was concerned that a single traditinoal router wouldn’t reach everywhere we needed in the house. With the addition of the Google Nest we have had absolutely no problem with connection which is excellent during this time while my husband works at home!

Should have purchased the pack with 2 points. The product works great boosting my wi fi signal so I can now join the streaming world. However, the one point does not get me a great signal to my third floor. So I will be getting a point for that part of the house. Would recommend this product if you have a weak wifi siginal.

Overall does everything I need. I have way more devices than most, I work from home and use the Google suite, wife uses the Amazon suite. So too many home devices there alone. Handles the fiber connection just fine and stable. Love it’s automatic updates and especially now with additional speakers on the hubs. In addition to all of this generally have 3 tvs streaming while gaming etc.1300 sq foot house w 700 sq foot detached garage metal sided. It’s the first setup I have that actually carries a consistent signal to the garage. Which is great for the smart door openers and home mini!

This wifi constantly turns itself on and off. I don’t use many devices and it still slows down significantly when trying to stream

I have found my nest Wi-Fi doing the best job of any router I have ever owned. The coverage is excellent and I like the added features that help me manage my internet service. To be able to control access at specific times means we get to see each other at dinner time without the distraction of our devices.

I don’t know if I just got a faulty set but I am having to restart the whole mesh system 3-4 times a month. Yes i know it doesn’t sound like much but there really shouldn’t be a reason for that.

Was using Xfinity modem/router which consistently went out daily. I would have to re-set wifi multiple times day. Xfinity switched it out 3 times and still the service was horrible. Since I switched to a different modem and set up my Nest WIF, I have had no problems. Best thin I ever did.

I’ve had it for a few years and it worked pretty well until the last few months. Connection goes in and out pretty frequently. I have a router and a point and every device in my home is connected to the point and not the router, causing poor to no signal in certain parts of the house. I factory reset the devices and it worked for about an hour before reverting back to everything. I have talked to Google support and they didn’t seem to have any solutions either. I like the connected of the house and all my devices when everything works, but I’m unfortunately reaching a breaking point with the amount of service interruption I am experiencing.

It does the job, I have excellent coverage on my house thanks to the mesh. It’s super simple to set up, and control once it’s set up. Can stream 4K, can game, and can download stuff while have a bunch of ring cameras and devices connected to my network. My problem with it, is that it has no WiFi 6, and the speeds you get from it aren’t that great. I pay for Gigabit Speed and only see 30-50 mbps. Now if I bypass the nest mesh and wirelessly connect to my modem/router I see 190 mbps speed. So I started connecting certain devices that I need high speed to my modem/router, and all other devices to google nest.

I have one router and a point in 1500 sq foot home but WiFi speed doesn’t go above 150 mbps. I have 900 mbps plan but Ethernet speed doesn’t go above 800 mbps. It is easy to setup and it works great. Only disappointment is the speed.

I bought this package to expand my existing Google Nest Wi-Fi system. B&H’s price for the same package was the lowest, even much lower than from Google. In addition, B&H customer service is what you can always trust.

Constant problems. The bridged routers cause conflicts that makes throughput terrible. SupPort wants you to completely format over and over when clearly something is wrong. Each format takes hours to set back up. Wifi will drop with no indication as to why. Only option is to unplug/replay and hope it comes back.
