The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

We have a three story brownstone house and have the wifi router oh the thrid floor. We were never able to get any wifi router to give us coverage on the bottom floor due to the metal ceilings, install around the 1900’s. We tried wifi extenders which were unable to give us better coverage below the metal ceilings. Using the nest system we were able to position the two points to bring the coverage down the staircase and into the back of the house, below the metal ceilings. We now can use Zoom and stream as well as anywhere else in the house. Installation was under an hour and easy for a computer newbie. Instructions were very good and easy to follow. Don’t take chances that another router will be better. With this system you can always and points to expand the coverage.

Was having connectivity issues with our ROKU television in the basement. Added a Google nest add-on to our existing Google Nest router WiFi system and that solved the problem. Very easy to activate the nest device using the Google Home app.

In my opinion Google Wifi for the prize it’s a good product and for most of people it will work fine I used to have a six google Wi-Fi but when I switch to Nest Wi-Fi I only need three for a better coverage than six google Wi-Fi I guess nest Wi-Fi has more range

1. The device looks great and blends in anywhere. It’s clean and inconspicuous so you can set it out in the open and get better signal everywhere.2. The features in the home app are awesome. All of the usage metrics are nice to have and it’s really easy to prioritize a device.3. Internet speeds seem significantly faster than with my old spectrum router or even my old eeros mesh routers.It’s better than expected! Not a single complaint!

I got the google nest WiFi router a few weeks ago and it works great ! It was very easy to setup! I love that it has parental controls ! WiFi seems to keep running fast. It works to up to 2200 square feet! This WiFi router covers all of my house and it works great! I would highly recommend this product to anyone !

Greatly simplifies setup and management of wireless and mesh networking. Unfortunately if features are not exposed by the simple interface, then they are not available, which may be a drawback for more advanced users. Overall the Nest Wifi is a great product that allows for a low-touch roll out and I could see recommending it to a majority of consumers, though the high cost may be a barrier to entry.

Need to be expanding Wi-Fi coverage at our home. Plus, my family concerns about Wi-Fi security. Google Nest Router and Pointer gives un ALL SOLUTIONS. If there is no WEAK wireless signal, we need to buy and put another Pointer. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Let me start by saying I am not very good at tech stuff. That being said I found this Google Nest Wifi Router so easy to set up and use. So far it is working great in our house. Our last router left our house with some spots that the internet didn’t work well in and this one seems to be a lot better. According to the web site this router should work through out our house but still doesn’t work the best in one of our rooms. We are planning to buy a pointer to help with this issue. Over all I am please with this Router.

I wish I had written down my technicians name but I didn’t. He was on the phone with me for 1:45 minutes. He actually did a 3 way call with me to Frontier to try and resolve my issue. He did everything on his end to resolve and we discovered it was an issue with Frontier. He was very patient and knowledgable. I’m very happy with this tech support!

I purchased the Nest WIFI because I had a lack of WiFi coverage in my home. It consists of the main level and a full finished terrace (basement) level. The Nest does a great job expanding my coverage everywhere in my house. I do have one problem I’m trying to solve and that is my HP printer is not visible to my iPhone. I think it is because our iPhones are on the 5ghz band and my printer is only supported on the 2.4 ghz band. I can still print via my Mac which is also on the 5ghz band so not sure how to resolve the issue. Other than that all is good.

Been really happy with it until recently it started dropping different devices and I would call our internet provider when they told me everything on their end was working properly I decided to do a factory reset on my nest wifi and then everything started working properly. I’m going to see how it goes now before I contact Google about this incident.
