Description
The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

We received this Google Nest WiFi router and it has so far helped us tremendously. We have had a few items still on the old router and several on the new and we have had seen a big difference. I haven’t had neay as much interruption as before. We definitely recommend and love the stylish design.

We have had a Nest Router and point for 2 years. We recently moved to a house that required more coverage, so we added 3 Google Wifi points. This has been a horrible experience! I have called Google no fewer than 10 times in the 6 weeks we have lived here and have spent COUNTLESS hours on the phone going through the troubleshooting steps, rebooting, factory resetting, and they even sent a replacement device. ( I have also been through the same steps with the ISP, fwiw). The Google support process is so inefficient once they say they are going to escalate to a technician. You can’t talk to them, and I get an email every 4 days asking me a single question or asking for a specific log or screenshot. I love Google products. I have a LOT of them. This has been a horrible experience, and I am still dropping Wifi multiple times a day. I want my money back for all of these products so that I can find a better mesh or extender solution, or I want to actually SPEAK to a technician.

I already pay an arm and leg for internet services that seem to never be fast speed as indicated ! I have noticed so much of a difference in my internet speed since hooking up my google nest WiFi router . It was super easy to hook up . Plug into the wall and plug the cord into your internet router . Then you can use the google home app from your phone to set it up and control the device . You can also talk to it like a google home device and it will play music , tell you the weather and answer questions you have in general.!

Amazing router. Love that I can control users, network, password, and priority devices all from the Google Home app. You can even create a guest network with your phone, regardless of if you’re actually connected to your home wifi. I don’t have the wifi points, but the option to upgrade those is a selling point as well.

Had used xfinity pods with little improvement. Best thing I did was get nest Wi-Fi and the customer service was great as I was having issues setting it up. It has really improved Wi-Fi reception throughout the house. Use the nest point as my means of switching lights on and off so that’s an added bonus.

It’s better than the Uverse Wifi Modem; and hook up was relatively easy, but I find the Google Home app buggy and its tough to get the parental controls to work properly.

It’s irritating that when I request a song on the Nest point, it won’t play the song directly; it will play a “station” based on that song title, but the song I request is rarely included in the station! However, if I request the exact same song on the Next Hub Max, the song will start right up with ZERO ISSUES. What is the difference, Google?!? This problem needs to be fixed.
