The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

Google nest WiFi router is must if you want to experience better WiFi thoughout home. It covers approx 2200Sqf as advertise. Its easy to setup. Just plug in to modem and done. I am planning to add one point to cover my basement area too. Its nice and slick, perfectly blend in any setup. I am completely satisfied with this router.

Pros1. Easy to setup. If devices have QRCode still on their bottom, that will make setup even more easy using Google Home.Cons1.If you are using WPA3 security setup , All you devices will get disconnect every time you run the speed test.2. Setup configuration are very limited (like DNS, DHCP…). Due to limited configuration you can’t customize it for your need. For example. I have a very less expensive Router, which provides much more configuration

This started out well enough but it is totally inconsistent. I get about 90 mbps up and down when my Internet service provider is giving me about 900 mbps to 1 gbps. Do not buy this product.

After figuring out that I needed a factory reset on my Google Wifi router, I was able to set up an augmented mesh to include my new Nest router, a Nest AP, and my existing Google Wifi router/APs. I’m seeing better performance on my connected devices.

Its works and have good coverage. But the points have no means of connecting a device by wire. It would be a nice feature. Also unable to set a device to only connect via 2.4ghz. I do astrophotography and the controlling unit only works off 2.4 but nest doesn’t give you the option to select only 2.4 access for a device.

You can always count on Google to deliver! This wifi-mesh system delivers extremely fast and reliable internet access throughout our apartment. Management of the wifi is super easy through the Google Home app. Set-up was extremely easy. Its been 3 months now and its performance has been consistent and reliable throughout. We have a smart home and use multiple ioT devices which include lights, vacuums, plugs, and much more. We are able to stream 4K TV in two different rooms at the same time seamlessly as well. We highly recommend this product!

Worked great-until it didn’t. Apparently a common problem especially with Xfinity. Followed all of the troubleshooting directions to no avail. Way too much money for a this failed experiment to expand connectivity in our house.

I live in a 2000 sq feet house and have owned the earlier google wifi. Because our modem was placed in a corner of the house, the Wi-Fi always had problems reaching some corners. Unfortunately that is still the case now. I also have a Wi-Fi point.

This product is better in my home than the single point wifi. But, it hasn’t been as stable as consistent as I would like. I have a single level, long home, and I lose signal regularly. I have found the Google assistant helpful but spend more time repeating myself. It also creates reminders that you can’t access but does kitchen timers really well, when it understands you.

Honestly, I am so happy with my google nest WiFi system. We used to have so many dead zones in our house with just the router provided by our service company.
