The Google Nest Wifi Router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and is more powerful than its predecessor, Google Wifi, delivering up to two times the speed and up to 25 percent better coverage. The Nest Wifi point allows for whole-home coverage and the system is scalable, allowing you to add more points in the future. The Nest Wifi system can handle multiple 4K video streams at the same time. The Nest Wifi system also supports proactive band steering, a self-healing network, and transmit beamforming. The router features the Snow color.
The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet and supports 4×4 MU-MIMO. The router also has dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jacks.
Google built the Nest Wifi system to provide the foundation for your future smart-home devices. It has local home connectivity, allowing some devices to connect directly to the system without a hub. Use the Google Home app for a simple setup and controls.

this mesh is a piece of Shet, I mean most my items get disconnected from the internet at least 4 times a day, I check with my ISP they have have not had any outages everything is working “fine” on their end, I don’t trust them either, but seriously I thought google would have a nice mesh for home, but all I can say its that all up to now is a piece of crap

Have tried for 2 years in 2 different houses, but this product just won’t stay on line. Constantly drops connection and is completely unreliable. I’d like to have my money back. Because at this point it’s just going in the trash.

The system works quite well (set up on iPhone.) I consistently get speeds at what my ISP states I should. The speakers built into the access points sound pretty good as well. Nothing crazy, but as a secondary function, they’re a really nice addition.

The setup was so easy! I love that the router and access points are sleek in design allowing it to easily blend into our home decor. The range of coverage is great in my 2 story home and I cannot find any dead spots at all! The speeds are amazing compared to my old wireless router setup (Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000). I don’t use the Google Assistant at all, but it’s nice to know that there is that added feature if I choose to do so down the road. Most of all I love that I can control the settings through my mobile phone on Google’s Home app. So EASY!

Router and point easy to install and set up. Access point not top speed and unable to wire connect to increase speed. I couldn’t give it 5 stars because of that. Otherwise, l love the reliability/stability of the router.

This router has by far been one of the easiest to set up and get ready for use. I just had to open the Google Home app and add the router by scanning the qr code on the back of the router itself. From there on all I had to do was enter the wifi name and password. The router has a range of 2200 sq ft which has not faltered for me. I noticed a boost in wifi range and my devices worked smoother in the areas that were troublesome in my downstairs living room once. The router has a clean design that makes it easy to just put it on display instead of having to hide it behind a console or table. The parental controls and monitoring controls within the app are great as well. I am able to set up schedules too. In addition, I was able to choose a priority device for when I’m gaming and would prefer that the games run smooth. This is only available for 1,2 or 4 hours though so I had to set it up multiple times. The other drawback is that there is only one output ethernet port on the router so I was limited in how many devices I could connect directly via ethernet. This can be fixed by using a hub but that takes away from the clean look. Aside from this though the router has been performing very well.

Replaced Asus and Nighthawk with Nest Mesh Router. I am getting great speed, eliminating all the dead spots @ 4200 sf inside and have a solid connection @ backyard. Great product, I am glad i made the switch. Great Product

Maybe I’m just technically ignorant, but I can’t figure out any way that this expensive piece of technology is helping my home. I was hoping it would improve the WiFi reception in my 1000 sq ft home, but it’s the same as it always was. What am I missing here? I am a Nest product lover….I have it all, but this might’ve been a giant waste of money. Sad day!

My husband has been working from home for several months now, and with our router downstairs and his office upstairs, we wanted a way to extend our internet throughout the house more consistently. The Google Nest Wifi Router was SO easy to set up, and started working immediately. From opening the box to being done it maybe took 20 minutes. It more than doubled our internet speed in other areas of the house and I cannot recommend this product enough. We’re able to work, stream movies, and even stream music on our back patio all without a hitch. If you’re paying for high-speed internet you really need this router to fully enjoy the benefits.

Hello,So I was looking for a mesh network that looked both aesthetically pleasing and also functional. Google knocked this out the park with their design and aesthetics of this product. It’s easy to connect just download their Google Home app and follow the instructions or just YouTube it. The only concern I wish would get fixed on this next version is:1) More Ports on the Router and please put some on the points. There are no e-ports on the points and just two on the router. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me just so you know.2) I have my laptop right next to the router and instead of getting my full internet speed i get roughly half of the speed but never less than that. Please improve the internet speed transmission. Again not a deal breaker. Watch YouTube comparison videos if you want something that provides better connection.Other than the two issues I described above, it’s great and it’s been working great since I’ve been using it and it’s been at least 3 months now.

They are simple to set upEasy to control your house once you add other smart devicesEffectively give high speedsThere were a few times when my speeds seemed too slow and it was because the wifi point had randomly disconnected from the main wifi point. A quick reboot and everything was great again.

The nest router is a great addition to anyone’s house. My major compliment with the device is the ability to group my children’s devices into one group, use the “safe browsing” feature within the router to prevent certain sites from being browsed. It also provides a time the devices have no connection to the wifi, meaning children are less likely to be sneaking online when you are asleep. This includes their phones on wifi! I also love the ability to test the speed of my internet while I’m on the go. I can see network activity and helps clarify if something is using the internet, that shouldn’t be.

Frustration free installation the google home app is awesome and it does all the setup process with click of buttons. I am using this to extend my WiFi signal from the first floor to second floor and it is providing really good signal. The speed and the signal increased dramatically after installing this router. Now I am able to stream videos without any buffering.
